I completely agree... but I take this further. I see Humanity as being "One New Man" in Christ according to Ephesians 2:14-15. This One New Person was born at Pentecost and is now just over 2000 years young. See Col 2:11-14 If being born of God was a decision humans could make (which it is not according to John 1:13) and were required to make in order to be eternally saved, then why did Jesus NEVER ever teach this publicly? He spoke of it once to a Pharisee in private and this is recorded in one Gospel out of four... Hmm... Peter speaks of it in past tense (Post Pentecost) in 1 Peter 1:23. I believe Jesus' Faith and Blood made a whole new creation altogether. I believe we are all born of God now. No more Old Wineskins (people born under the conditions of the OT). But this is how I see. I don't say anyone must agree.
Did he also imply that our prayer life will end when we start trusting fully? I’m confused. Doesn’t there word say to pray unceasingly? Doesn’t Jesus ever live to intercede for us? Is his faith weak? This teaching is not for me.
I understand you hearing him say that as he speaks quite loose and fast! What I believe he was saying was that we must seek first the kingdom, because all we need will be added to us when we pursue him and his will for our lives. It's taking a conpletely different angle on what we have been taught about prayer in the past. He actually said praying FOR STUFF is a ruse. Prayer is continual openness and walking and conversation with God in every moment, not asking for stuff. I encourage you, even if you don't like this teaching, to take this thought to the Father and ask him to reveal the meaning and truth about prayer to you. I believe he is trying to teach us a truth, but the language here can be a bit blunt and confronting. Blessings ❤

I find it fascinating that some woman is hearing the most important message she's probably ever heard. Yet she can sit in her chair in the congregation and knit a scarf. 😆
Yes we are sons of God because he adopted us into his family. I am married to my husband; we are one. Does that mean that I am exactly like my husband? I cannot do difficult math difficult that it takes an engineer or advanced mathmetician to understand. I am not 200 pounds. I am not a man. I do not want the amount of responsibility that he has taken on. My sons and daughter will never look at him and think of him the same way they think of me. So what in the world are you saying when you say that we are everything that God is? Do you have the power to pull someone out of hell or let someone into heaven? Can people now obtain salvation and rebirth through you? Were you there on the day of creation? No. Because I love you I am telling you the truth turn around from from taking this teaching too far.
Scripture says we are just as he is. 1 John 4:17 says as He is so are we in this world. But not only that 2 Corinthians 3 says that as we behold as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, we are being transformed into the same image. And we have the mind of Christ. It’s not to say that we are God himself but we are in His image. We are united with Him and one with Him in Spirit. We don’t only imitate His nature but we partake in the divine nature.
The one big problem with Chris's teaching is that he does not explain who qualifies and who does not, as giving your life to God means actually doing that, not going forward in a meeting, Yeshua said many things about who qualifies, Chris seems to avoid those
Jesus taught the law of Moses, not the gospel of grace to the gentiles, that was Paul’s job. Grace did not come until the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. Jesus was teaching Jews 2000 years ago, not gentiles under grace 😊
Every time I hear these truths I shift more and more into the Son of God I'm created to be. Thank you Chris :)
