Aside from fast fashion, I do know u thrift clothes a lot as well, Luna, and u did say u promote sustainable fashion which is good! But do know that buying 30 pieces of thrifted clothes is far off from sustainable. It is better to buy much less but good quality essential products of your style and comfort and stick with it for a good period of time. It's a matter of styling which I'm sure you're good at, Luna. i think what’s most disappointing about this video is that luna made an online shopping haul/try on video abt 3 months ago, in which very many commenters criticized her for tendencies to over-consume and support fast fashion. they were pretty informative and she had to have seen at least some of them, but since then her habits and mindset haven’t changed in the slightest. if you as an influencer claim to care about the environment and people who are oppressed working under these industries...why are you putting on a performative front just to promote the opposite of sustainability? :/ no hate. just surprised to see the lack of accountability.

I would’ve donated that skirt that had a zipper broken just because someone who would buy it could fix it or you could reuse it as a rag. It just seems like a too good of a piece fabric to go to the landfill. And also please realize that all the clothes you are getting rid of are clothes you only bought because they were trending and that’s not a bad thing but it’s bad that you only bought for the trend and not to wear them. Luna, I recently learned that pit stains are actually caused by deodorant. I started using Thai Crystal deodorant & no more pit stains. Plus it’s better for you because it’s aluminium free & doesn’t have the crazy chemicals regular deodorant has. And it actually works unlike most “natural” deodorants (in my experience). ❤️

Hi, I know it´s your job but try to shop less, have closet staples in your wardrobe of good quality that are gonna last years and AVOID trends that you don´t even like or don´t fit your style. What you´re doing shopping this much is SO damaging for the world. You throw clothes youve used once or not even one time?! So irresponsible, please be more cautious and investigate about the effects of fast fashion in the planet, not only contaminating, but also supporting slavery and producing an exagerate amount of waste. Imagine if all the people in the world shopped like you do. This amount of clothes x 7 billion people! The entire sea would be just clothes. In reality youre just following the trends that fast fashion brands endorse by launching 600 collections per year, making you consume, consume, consume. It´s a vicious cycle and if you only base your style in what you see online you´ll never be happy with your clothes bc it´s not your style, not what you want, you only like the clothes, the cheap fabric or the design bc you´ve seen it times and times in ig by other influencers and youve come to the conclussion (for example you never liked crocs and now that they´re on trend you feel the urge to buy two pairs of them -yes I invented this example-) that is your taste when it really isn´t. Shopping staples will benefit you in lots of ways: you will start to dress classy, like you say youd like to in other video, youll be able to rewear the clothes, youll appear as more intelligent and mature and your clothes will last longer, helping the planet. When I clean out my clothes I hide them away for like 2 weeks or a month and if I ever think “oh I want to wear that thing I got rid of” it’s still there for me to keep. And then I donate. I usually end up taking back one or two clothing items. I don’t know if this is smart but it works for me 🤷🏽♀️
During the winter I put my summer clothes in an under-the-bed box, and then during the summer I put my winter clothes in that box. That way I have plenty of space in my wardrobe and clothes I can wear. Anything of mine that gets broken, I put it in H&Ms clothing recycle ♻️ box. 💖💖💖💖 🌍 🌍 🌍 🌍

Luna! The yellow stains might be from the deodorant you're using. I was using the native coconut one and literally everything I wore for the year I had that deodorant had those stains. Switched deodorants and now it doesn't happen anymore
I use Soft&Gentle Rose and Vanilla deodorant. That’s the only one that doesn’t stain my clothes. Also, if you want to get rid of pit stains, put Oxi stain remover powder in the wash - it really works!!! 💖💖💖
I didn't want to repeat what other well-written comments have already respectfully pointed out, but this only makes me more fearful about the future of the planet. If we don't educate children (and adults!) about the socioeconomic and environmental effects of overconsumption, nature's gonna fight back sooner than later and, idk about you, but I don't see the point in owning tons of lovely clothes if they're only gonna be destroyed in a tsunami/earthquake/fire (since these are becoming dangerously common now). It sounds extreme but climatologists have been going on about this for ages and nobody would listen :/ (and there's also the fact that sustainable clothing is out of most people's budget but, being an influencer with a substantial subscriber count like Luna, it shouldn't be a problem for her to promote and partake in more ethical fashion practices). I'm just scared of the consequences of young audiences watching videos like this one that essentially keep mindful buying out of the question.
