Putitng fine screen net would only hinder growth of algae which is the main food of the fish especially for carps. And adding free flowing water system would also help. You could check videos in japanese cultivation of carps. I hope it would help you.

Hey there dexter, going good with mudponds, have you looked into solar air pumps and wind turbine water aggitator, give you extra oxygen and surface displacement of water. In mud ponds you should use lime before adding fish, few weeks before, after harvest and before refill, you should be able to use some chicken manure too. This starts the process of algaes and first food in the pond ready in few weeks for fish to eat. Using a high protein pellet when bigger will aid fish growth, you can get auto feeders or make own using barrels and deer feeder. You can make own wind turbine water movement device, proppeler on top, rotates bar n gears or chains to paddle wheels touching water surface, kicks up and splashes water adding oxygen.
To increase colours in koi feed more algae and shrimp in pellet form in there diet that should bring out colours more as so the food and mudpond.
Loved watching keep up the good work.
    Peace.

Hello Dexter, you should breed your own mealworms at the farm because it's easy to breed & it's extra protein & fat for the chickens. It's also very cheap to breed so you can lessen the expenses for chicken food. You could probably just feed the grasses near the farm so no need to buy vegetables for the mealworms. Keep up the good work Dexter.

If you put baby geese in with your baby chickens, they will grow up together and the goose will always guard chickens, even if you give it a different lot of chickens to guard.

Put Solar pumps to extract water from the well and store it in tanks. Solar pumps works as long as sunshine is there and you will not have to depend on electricity from the grid and saves you money

The mud ponds seem to be working great for you Dexter. A couple of months to harvest then to sell is amazing and will keep the business in a positive cash flow. Geese are looking beautiful, goats too. That’s one concern I have for my future fish pond, the evaporation of the water in the hot weather months. What do you think of an old school windmill to pump the water? Not sure if it’s feasible but just a thought. I’m looking for a breeding pair of Pilgrim geese right now but it’s hard to find here. See u on the next video Dexter, Chad from 🇨🇦.

Hi Dexter I hope you get to read this, in the UK we protect Koi ponds with fishing line you can make a small fence around the pond and across the pond in different angles it stops the birds and don't affect the fish as they can't see it and does not block the light out either you should invest in solar panel air stone pumps for the oxygen 2 or 3 in each pond they are not expensive and maybe a solar panel water pump would be cheaper for long term.

Sir Dex, I have a suggestion for your problem with the birds.
Why not put some light reflector objects like VCD/DVD discs because birds are afraid of shining objects when reflected by sunlight.
Just hang them in a wire conntected to a post so that when the wind hits those disc it will scare the birds away.
Its just a suggestion but sure it will work.
Shout out here from Cebu City Sir Dex.
