Stuff like this is why I appreciate indie/near-indie dev studios. There's passion and technique burdened less by fears of 'risk' and 'market value' to just do cool, silly stuff that looks still like a remarkably cool and fun game. I'm not sure I could ever accurately *DESCRIBE* the weapons-grade nonsense going on in this video, but it looks neat and I appreciate it's existence! And Tom for always having fun, silly stuff to show us.
Doesn't have to be an "indie" game to be like everything you described, no what you meant is when the CREATOR *ACTUALLY* has control over their own work and isn't trying to profit. Any game (yes, even Triple A games) can be passionate like this, it's just less likely when there's more of an investment into the game itself
Cindy corn isn’t gummy so much as it is waxy? Like, idk how to describe the texture, it’s not exactly good, but it’s incredibly distinct and unlike any other kind of candy (besides the pumpkin shaped ones that are made out of the exact same candy)

Candy corn is not a gummy lol It's a weird sweet kinda wax called mallowcreme. Lots of people hate it, but I personally love it. You can even get mallowcreme pumpkins that are like giant candy corn
this is compleate chaos and im all for it its a little odd seeing the small details missing when you mention them making battle block theater, like in this when you get the lazer the chicks mouth dose not even open seems like low effort in that case but this looks crazy

Candy corn is a hard candy, and it basically is just that, a hard candy that doesn't taste like much. As someone from Sweden who value good candy and consume too much of it, candy corn is for sure trash tier.

Yeah, waxy, firm-ish compressed powdered sugar. Definitely not gummy. Not the best candy, but not as bad as some people make it out to be.
