Marmoset mothers will sometimes reject their 1st couple of litters, it's possible for them to mate once a year & they allways produce twins. What happened to the other? The father is the 1 who usually carries them & takes care of them. If the dad isn't around to do this you will have great difficulty raising marmosets.
I hate seeing animals that don't belong with humans...with humans. He or she wants their mother. Their the only real ones who can take care of them adequately. I looks cold but then again, you don't want it to get too hot...it has fur. It belongs with its mother

They're so tiny that it's hard to care for the rejected baby because of their constant needs and they usually don't make it.
you did the best you could I am hand rearing at the moment he is now 8 weeks old I mine are all parent reared but this time mum had a breech birth she was pregnant with 3 baby's and 2 died and I had to remove the only one to survive a 2 hours old as the mum was very ill could not feed the wee man she was not fit to look after her self for over 20 days now I have a lovely wee man that I just adore and hand rearing is a hard work feeding every 2 hours for the first 5 weeks then 3 hourly feeds now he is on 4 hourly feeds and starting to eat solids also you have to toilet them every hour so well done for trying

You should have kept this baby inside your clothing next to your chest with these and most babies they are not capable DEVELOPMENTALLY of generating their own body heat...it is vital to their survival to have a constant close contact for warmth physical need as well as being held close physiological requirement without these things FAILURE to thrive syndrome sets in quite quickly just as the baby requires nurturing without it no survival. Also the requirement nutritionally is much different than human babies and therefore baby human formula and regular human newborn nipples are both inappropriate and detrimental to these PRIMATES. The aspiration dehydration malnutrition hypothermia hypoxia and inadequate surrogacy WITHOLDING of proper IMMEDIATE care while in containment and in a facility for RESCUE. This crisis was completely avoidable. Mistakes happen but this happened in your care and before it started there was already uninhabitable conditions life threatening inadequacy neglectful .

This little one looked like it had respiratory problems. As a RN with many years experience working with newborn human infants, it looks like it's having retracting with it's respiration. We would call it.grunting, flaring and retracting. That kind of breathing will soon exhaust the little one. I wonder if it was premature?

Shitty she allowed this creature to suffer so much..even a simpleton can clearly see the baby is struggling to breath...is it also hypothermia or having a reaction to fabric softeners or room cleaners floor cleaners and sprays which could and would easily cause respiratory failure to any animal even a newborn child especially if there was an allergic reaction to begin with...holy cow..where is the reasoning for someone to post this as if they did a good thing...You didn't take your pet you bred for profit to the vet because you expected to make money not spend money especially watching the baby suffer and for so long...cruel.
I immediately wondered the same thing, although I have no idea of weights for neonate primates and if this one would have been considered premature by date (which probably is impossible to know) or by weight. I know that is some ares of the world one think that is lowering the primate numbers in higher incidents of miscarriage or small infant size (premature of just low birth weight>). He is grunting and in obvious respiratory distress and probably needs oxygen. If is full term primates can have rough and prolonged deliveries like humans resulting in maternal and fetal exhaustion, intrauterine infection hence communicated to baby, aspiration and aspiration pneumonia,there could have e been fetal distress for many hours. Breathing problems compromise feeding and newborns need to get the colostrum at first to give them protection and energy to survive, without it they will usually die unless there is medical intervention, and replacer milk while good later on is not a substitute, these babies need to nurse at least every two hours, sometimes more often to keep up strength and to stay hydrated. If they can't literally be fed on demand because they are too week to get to mamma, mamma is not there or they are not able to get enough as they become exhausted with trying to breathe and eat. Even with a substitute for momma with breathing like that it was too exhausting to try to eat and breathe and get enough of either. This baby needed intensive medical intervention to survive. The only things that will save a baby like this is to be in a warming box/incubator most likely with oxygen, given IV fluids as well as antibiotics and other support and constant 7/27 attention.

That tiny thing needed warmth. Oxygen and wArm I V saline. To say the least.
It did need to be warm. And it looked very dehydrated.

This little one looked like it had respiratory problems. As a RN with many years experience working with newborn human infants, it looks like it's having retracting with it's respiration. We would call it.grunting, flaring and retracting. That kind of breathing will soon exhaust the little one. I wonder if it was premature?
Shirley Drake I agree and noticed that immediately..also, how did the mother pet monkey get pregnant was she intentionally bred to give birth for profit and if so why was there no get in place in case such an emergency arose? Shitty she allowed this creature to suffer so much..even a simpleton can clearly see the baby is struggling to breath...is it also hypothermia or having a reaction to fabric softeners or room cleaners floor cleaners and sprays which could and would easily cause respiratory failure to any animal even a newborn child especially if there was an allergic reaction to begin with...holy cow..where is the reasoning for someone to post this as if they did a good thing...You didn't take your pet you bred for profit to the vet because you expected to make money not spend money especially watching the baby suffer and for so long...cruel.

I immediately wondered the same thing, although I have no idea of weights for neonate primates and if this one would have been considered premature by date (which probably is impossible to know) or by weight. I know that is some ares of the world one think that is lowering the primate numbers in higher incidents of miscarriage or small infant size (premature of just low birth weight>). He is grunting and in obvious respiratory distress and probably needs oxygen. If is full term primates can have rough and prolonged deliveries like humans resulting in maternal and fetal exhaustion, intrauterine infection hence communicated to baby, aspiration and aspiration pneumonia,there could have e been fetal distress for many hours. Breathing problems compromise feeding and newborns need to get the colostrum at first to give them protection and energy to survive, without it they will usually die unless there is medical intervention, and replacer milk while good later on is not a substitute, these babies need to nurse at least every two hours, sometimes more often to keep up strength and to stay hydrated. If they can't literally be fed on demand because they are too week to get to mamma, mamma is not there or they are not able to get enough as they become exhausted with trying to breathe and eat. Even with a substitute for momma with breathing like that it was too exhausting to try to eat and breathe and get enough of either. This baby needed intensive medical intervention to survive. The only things that will save a baby like this is to be in a warming box/incubator most likely with oxygen, given IV fluids as well as antibiotics and other support and constant 7/27 attention.

His angels don’t care that you were/are capable of this kind of darkness because of the very way you were treated as a helpless baby/child. They took him home , far away from you and those like you. You are an adult now but are clearly damaged to your core . What remains of your impoverished heart has been enough to let you KNOW that what you were/are doing was/is unconscionable. Aren’t you just a little bit concerned about retribution ? No , I wouldn’t even ride in a tuktuk with you . Because we live in a time of everyone’s accounts being divinely balanced. The time of ‘getting away with things’ is over .
animals do kn when they r defective, and the mother will leave them to die, it's heart breaking I kn from experience, but if u do everything just as u should the babe will make, if it dies it was something wrong inside and mom knew,
Ang dlwil especially when instead of getting the baby to a vet for proper appropriate care this person refused to spend the money they were intending to make off of breeding thedir pet monkey...sadly THIS IS what horrible people do,,,sadly then go on to post their videos as if they are kind to have attempted to save the baby when in fact the baby should have been in the care of a vet who without a doubt could have saved this bred baby.

Did you even read the description? It’s mother abandoned it and the person in the film hand fed it but it died after 5 days.
@@squeaksvids5886 , there are hundreds of ''abandoned'' baby monkeys on here . They have been taken from their mothers . If it was abandoned then it should have been taken to a sanctuaty where it would have had a chance with the correct care . These people are scam artists after money.
