- Start to finish process of lowering the seat of my wife’s Honda ADV150 so she can touch the ground better & drive safely.
Update , unfortunately my wife wasn’t comfortable and didn’t feel safe riding so I was forced to sell the brand new scooter. That being said the seat project was a success.
hi, just watched your xmax muffler video. how tall are you >? the xmax is quite tall seat wise? im 5.6
I’m 6ft even & 250lbs. The bike fits me remarkably well. My issue has been with the 2023 Honda ADC150 I recently purchased for my wife. She’s 5.4” and could barely touch her toes to the ground. I made a brief video of my attempt to modify her seat lowering it appropriately 3”. It turned out well.
How well was your wife able to reach the ground while sitting on the scooter after the modification?
She’s able to touch both feet but It’s been an uphill struggle teaching her to ride safely. She has no prior experience.
