I’m usually extremely anti-ads. But I’m super glad to have come across this video and the other ones. The host is perfect; he’s like low-key funny and chill. It works. And the content and analysis is spot on. Things you think about as a true fan of the original content you’re timid to say out loud because overly serious critics who grew up too fast are negative about everything. Loved this video and look forward to more. The Jackie Chan one was also very solid.

It was an early 90's action comedy. It was okay as far as early 90's, flashy looking, over the top, action comedies went in those days. I agree with the vid, this was never meant to be taken seriously. The sort of opposite side of the coin is Mortal Kombat, who despite Johnny Cage's comedic relief, actually DID invest a ton into its characters, set design, music, and of course the legendary fight scenes. Just a totally different approach that's all, and I enjoy and appreciate each film for what they are, and that's it

I have always believed that critics should judge the films, the audiences(fans) who either go or don't go make the movie.Besides this movie made hand over fist money, and rightful so.If any studio decides to make a new Street Fighter movie,I am hoping I can work to edit that movie as a film editor.Would be too awesome!

I think it’s also the best movie for the United Nations ever made.

About the way Blanka looked: The mutation didn't finish. That's why he looks different. 2. He's charlie nash from Alpha. In this movie. Its a way to segue another character into the film.

Forgot to mention That Raul Julia only took the role of Bison because his sons are huge fans of the game.. the movie is gift to his sons.

Your probably right, but it's all in good fun. There's a decent amount of tongue and cheek in there. Also - any excuse to talk about this movie is absolute win in my book! - Juan

Raul Julia did an amazing job in this movie.
Talking about Street Fighter please do Jackie Chan's City Hunter.

The story behind the Super Mario Bros movie is more interesting than the movie itself, I wonder what's the story behind the SF movie (I'm not talking about the actors but how the script was developed until the versión we saw and love [kind of]).
Oh BTW! that satire thing is making me watch the movie again. Thanks? I guess.

Although Van Damme was a diva in this movie I think he redeemed himself in his own version of Street Fighter years later in The quest.

I still love the scene where Zangeif said quick, change the channel. Raul was a great M Bison and the movie was cheesy yes but still very close to accurate despite a few mistakes with characters. The movie was so bad, it is still very good too.
