Junk Fishing HEAVY Winds For Pond Largemouth Bass (Homestead Dam)

Junk fishing Homestead Dam seems to be the ticket to catching more bass. Catching more bass also means sticking it out and casting different lures as many times as possible. This video shows how I Junk fished the bank at homestead in the Heavy wind to catch more pond bass.
The day started early morning for me, took a drive out to homestead dam to try and catch more pond bass then I usually do when I go there. The fishing isn't very easy at homestead dam due to all the line pressure the bass get. I have set my self a challenge that I will be able to figure out this pond so when I do fish there I will catch many more bass out the pond.
I fished the dam wall side at homestead dam first, ripping a jerk bait was my first choice of junk fishing tactic. Funny enough jerk bait are really good lures to use in the summer times and even in very heavy winds as we had in this video. Made my first cast with the jerkbait and I was on. The heavy wind jerk bait tactic worked. Hours went by, me throwing lure after lure into this pond and being blown away by these heavy winds and I was onto my second bass. This fish can off a wacky rig senko just out some cover. The junk fishing tactic worked for me because no real tactic was working and I was happy to swap lures and rods through out the day at homestead dam.
The heavy wind was not on my side while fishing homestead dam, but I hope in this video can show you pond fisherman that you do not need to stay home when the heavy winds are beating the banks of you local pond. The heavy winds can be your friend and you shouldn't be afraid of the wind.
