Here are the boxes I use the most. Prices can swing dramatically from week to week. Be sure to check out Amazon vs. Ebay for the best price. I always try to order in quantity of 100. I like to get boxes for less than 70 cents each (shipped), but it is getting harder and harder to do. The *** boxes are my favorites that I use the most.

Love your advice on books. I’d never think to look at some of the subject matter you choose but now have a more open mind when sourcing. Do you have any videos on what your return policies are? Do you pay shipping back or customer pays? I’m getting shipping down but still unsure on return policies. Thanks Shane! No Daleks!! 👎🏻
I don’t but that is a good subject. I don’t have an automatic returns or 30 day return. I ask for buyer to contact me. If I made a mistake I pay everything. If they just decided they don’t want it then I require them to pay return shipping.
We've lived through several cycles of ebb and flow. Just hang in there. As the farmer says, "Make hay when the sun is shining." When we have a good book source, we typically take everything the seller/giver has and then we sort through it at home. We learned that good sources eventually dry up. But we also experienced that old adage: When one door closes, another one opens. That being said, we are at the point where we have to be picky with what we get because 15,000 books later, we have run out of storage space. By the way, we've found some treasures by taking the "whole lot" that we might have otherwise overlooked by picking and choosing. Make friends with people that do house clean-outs, with auctioneers, and with real estate agents. Love your videos! Keep them coming!
Thank you! Great perspective and very accurate points. I 100% agree with you.
I love Steely Dan! Have seen about 10 times. “My old School” is my favorite song. Scored Walt’s “11 tracks of Whack” CD at a yard sale for like 50 cents a year ago.
Good finds as always. Yes the pickings this week have been real thin but yard sale season kicks off up here this weekend.
Have a great Holiday weekend!
Have a great weekend! Hopefully some good sourcing time! I might hit an estate sale or 2.
I’m definitely on a Steely Dan kick right now. We had a local cover band a few weeks ago called “Stanley Dan” that did a great job- got a buddy that plays sax in it. Lots of fun. Favorite album- Aja or Gaucho?
Gaucho, for sure. I used to live high in the Custerdome! What about you?
You should read MR James! His short ghost stories are fantastic.
Hah ! I was thinking, that's an eclectic mix of books and you said "some good eclectic mixes". We're thinking alike, Shane.
Agree with you about a sourcing ebb! My local Goodwills all seem to have the same stock of books -- likely remaindered, although the cover isn't clipped.
Thanks for sharing!!
I just sold that Doppler book! You find some really interesting books.
Have you ever made a video on how you use Ebay's 'Best Offer' option? Do you use it for all your Ebay listings? How big of a discount do you give? How do you handle the insultingly-low offers?
Ive wrote before I will never sell on AZ again.
However, I have been a disc media seller for a few years. Books for ~5 or so. Reselling for over 20.
DVDs and CDs sell super fast on ebay. When sourcing, over a week's time, 80% of buys are disc media anymore - I can get to more stores by spending less time at others.
Sold a 6 disc ballroom/flapper (1930s era) CD set for $130 used paid $2.
Im doing my RITA tax estimate due in June. YTD my media cost per item is $1.18. Books, mags, DVD, CD, video games (mainly PC), etc media.
That is a nice average cost per item! I’m definitely learning to appreciate other media more.
@@curatorofthelost It's full-full time for me. It's nice to have over 30 thrifties within ~45 minutes in the 3 directions I can go.
Just did, what I call, my Parma run: GW, GW, Savers, GW. That was 7 hours, 66 disc media and a "Christ and his Bride" ILravy.
Heading to today, best described as "Where the blimp hangar is - where the Derby downs are" Akron/Ellet.
Any good advice on what to look for with DVDs? I've sold a few on ebay but I don't really know what to look for.

Aside of that, just scan. There's a ton of $20-30 disc media out there.
Casting Crowns & Imperials are Christian music genre. The pickle ball book will be gone in a heart beat, extremely popular sport.
Why is it called “media” mail if it’s only for books
You can also send sound and video recordings- CDs and dvds.
Am I evil for using media mail for other things then books? DVDs, CDs, etc.
CDs and DVDs are legal media mail. You are not evil!!!!!
