Téa Carise yeah American make up is too shiny bulky heavy and cakey but with Korean make up just some foundation a little eye make up and blush with soft lip coloring and it a really natural look
Army Blink Exo-l Sone Kpop Is Lifue but why most korean especially kpop star do plastic surgery if they dont need it.. korea is where every train station have a poster wherein telling you need to get surgery
I love how professional and 'neat' the makeup application was. Everything almost looked sanitised and it's as if they don't let the skin touch the makeup compact/jar etc or applicator.
I feel like the makeup/hair style that you usually do suits your face better, however, you really looked like a kpop star afterwards, so the intention of the video was definitely accomplished Amazing video as always, Tina :)
This is so much prettier than Western make up!! Although I do think both styles make a plain face look pretty, but Asian style fits Asian face better, it is such a big difference and I am absolutely stunned.
Well it make sense right? Western makeup does not match our skin tones or styles. But in Asia, they make foundation with our undertones, etc etc. And the style is so much prettier too.
H K no it's true korean eyes is so small and their don't want it that's why their paying for surgery just to have double eyelid and why do you think eyeliner is quite popular for them it because eyeliner can make their eyes bigger🙂
I like korean make-up much more than American-western. It's more natural than those crazy colours and crazy big eyelashes and so on. European speaking right there
I guess it varies on a person. If you're black then of course western makeup suits you more. I'm not saying that I don't like western makeup on the other hand I prefer these soft looks :)
Seriously ? Idk what's your country but here in France it's very rare for me to see a woman with a makeup as a beauty youtuber are doing. The majority don't wear makeup or only a little bit. Btw sorry for my english.
TH-cam 2.0 I live in Hungary and the majority of girls here wear those huge fake lashes and they contour their faces to the point where you can't even recognize them without makeup. lol I guess it's different in every country.
OMG TINA REALLY LOOKS LIKE MINA OF TWICE. ESPECIALLY WHEN SHE SMILES. I NOTICED THAT THEY'RE LOOK ALIKE LAST YEAR. BTW, I LOVE YOUR KOREAN LOOK HERE +Tina Yong 😘😘😍
You looked so K-pop! Honestly I love korean & Japanese makeup much more than western make up. I try to mimic it on my face, but it's difficult since I'm Mexican so my face shape is different from Asian face shapes. Although with more tutorials like this I'm sure I could learn!! 💜
I think if you focus on copying the eye make up method but in colours that suit your skin tone more, and then with the two layers of blushes use two blushes that match your skin tone (I'm not sure what it is but I imagine different from Korean), a lighter more neutral blush and a more pinkish or reddish (depending on what suits you) blush at the more central point. As to contouring, I didn't notice any contouring happen here but if it flatters your face shape you should go for it. It's important to realise when you need to adapt make up methods to what suits your skin tone and face shape better.
I mean, it's popular in Korea because it mostly brings out Asian features. We do have simple, natural makeup styles for westerners that are tailored for our features. Just because they're overshadowed by what is "trendy" doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
It really is so different from how you do it. But you still looked so beautiful. And the eyes were differently done. Just like how a korean eye make up would look. 😊
Yeah I definitely really like Korean makeup, whenever I watch Korean dramas the actors in it are so pretty yet they look so naturally pretty and not overly done and only when I look very closely can I notice the eyeliner and small changes. I feel like with Western makeup people like to shout out to the world that they're wearing makeup to kinda prove that they can, it isn't a bad thing but with Korean makeup they mainly focus on accentuating natural beauty so that people can't argue that it's just the makeup that's pretty. The small things they do really brings out the beauty inside, loved it 😊
korean makeup can be so boring though. i like how it highlights youth and clean looks but sometimes it feels too porcelain perfect and almost fake. once you watch a lot korean dramas or idols performing, you start to realize a majority of them have copy pasted looks
i feel this makeover would’ve literally taken 5 seconds cuz the makeup artist was so good at blending! like she was like lightening and the end product was stunning!
Tina you look amazing! With Korean make up you look more youthful-pretty looking and with your usual more Western make up, you look like mature and sexy-pretty looking. Did I make sense lmao. Anyway, love both of your looks
I'm American and I hate our makeup :p everything looks so fake!! I love korean makeup because it brings out your natural beauty while being as minimal as possible :)
equeslrk33 I actually really like the American "instagram make up" look very much. It's fun to do and you end up doing a full make over/transformation! I'm mexican, so korean make up does not really work on me and Korean makeup really only looks good on korean/Asian people. Where as the instagram look could work with almost anyone. Also, you don't have to do heavy foundation or even add huge lashed to get that instagram look.
Korean makeup brings out the natural beauty of korean people. That's why it's trendy there. You do realize there are natural looks for westerners thag are just as simple specifically for bringing out our features, correct?
I agree. I think that makeup is best for making our natural features pop. American makeup focuses so much on transforming all of your natural features into a beauty standard that isn’t obtainable for people who don’t want to spend all their money on expensive products. The heavy foundation, excessive eye makeup, and thick fake lashes really distort our faces. I think that so much makeup destroys your skin too. The korean makeup is so beautiful because it only brightens and highlights your features rather than completely changing your face. Everything looks so fake with american makeup. We are people, not barbie dolls.
i am so happy that kpop and korean culture is gettig more notice from around the world a little by little now.. mostly thanks to all the kpop idols out there who try their best to succeed globally which helped spread kpop and our culture. i want to personally thank you for doing this and introducing our culture to more people. thank you!!
For such a natural look there are so many steps! I want my makeup to look like this every day but it's too time-consuming with my daily schedule :( Thank you so much for the video though, I really enjoyed it and learned a lot.
Mary Gurule it's actually Korean makeup routine - you should look natural even with makeup. They don't have really popping eye shadow or really pink blush, however they have glitters, highlighters for eyes and brown eyeliner because eye is the soul of your face, and beautiful eyes speak for the person.

Am I the only one who thinks Korean makeup is much prettier than the heavy American makeup?
Téa Carise trrue koreans do simple and natural makeup and no need for plastic surgery
Téa Carise yeah American make up is too shiny bulky heavy and cakey but with Korean make up just some foundation a little eye make up and blush with soft lip coloring and it a really natural look
Me too lol I always feel weird when i see big and thick eyebrows😐
BANGTAN SONYEONDAN BTS ARMY what about people who have naturally really thick eyebrows?
Army Blink Exo-l Sone Kpop Is Lifue but why most korean especially kpop star do plastic surgery if they dont need it.. korea is where every train station have a poster wherein telling you need to get surgery
I love how professional and 'neat' the makeup application was. Everything almost looked sanitised and it's as if they don't let the skin touch the makeup compact/jar etc or applicator.
They usually dont. Like with lipsticks they use a brush because it looks more natural on the lips.
Korean makeup is actually my favorite style of makeup
Same
Yess, same

napperforlife do you think this makeup fits western/european faces?
Wow, Tina, you really should do more of korean makeup, it looks so good on you ;w;
Марк Карелин she's Vietnamese though
+Kaila's Channel you don't have to be a certain race to do Korean inspired makeup. she's just saying that style looks good on her.
Марк Карелин slaaaay girl it is sooooooo pretty on you!!!!!
I always loved the Japanese/Korean style of makeup but unfortunately, it just doesn't suit my European looking face 😕
European girls have made it work. Keep trying!
aprilblenk I'm european and i don't suit european make up. I have "cute" face and this suit only Korean like make up 😂
aprilblenk do not say that... You are all beautiful bc we are god's creation
I've always loved it too but too baby if I tried wearing it I would be called a koreaboo or a weaboo by someone
aprilblenk Same....
Korean makeup style really suits you. Plz make some videos on Korean makeup styles. Korean makeup looks are really natural.
The reason why the korean makeup suits her, is coz she is korean
@@neonakennett1426 she's vietnamese not korean
Neona Kennett cause she’s asian*
6:32 oh wowwww, that actually looks like a real kpop idol!! Amazingggg, it's really soft and natural! Amazing!!
She looked so pretty at the end !! She actually looked like a Korean person because her eye shape was different
divya sabu Yeah, maybe they meant "stereotypical korean person"
Mihaela Graur her eyes is the most korean dream eyes sometimes their doing surgery just to have that
Eun Mi ? They dont want you southeast asians eyes lol Funny how these koreaboos think koreans want their eyes
H K Acutally many Koreans do want their eyes that's why they've been doing plastic surgery to get that double eyelid.
H K no it's true korean eyes is so small and their don't want it that's why their paying for surgery just to have double eyelid and why do you think eyeliner is quite popular for them it because eyeliner can make their eyes bigger🙂

Right! :) I choose to wear very light makeup, but the trendy thing is heavy contouring :c
I love how she even had a puff on her pinkie to protect the face. Thats the kind of little details that make her super professional. Sooooo good.
