For more than three decades, Dickens has been closely associated with Deventer and the historic Bergkwartier. This year the 30th edition of the Dickens Festival can finally take place! More than 950 characters from the famous books of this English writer come to life: from Scrooge to Oliver Twist, from Mr. Pickwick to Christmas Carol Singers, from orphans to office clerks and genteel folks. Towering Christmas trees and the beautifully restored buildings form the backdrop. The anniversary edition, in which The 19th-century English city by Charles Dickens revives in all its glory in the Bergkwartier, will take place on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 December. Every year, more than 100,000 visitors from the Netherlands and abroad come to the narrow streets of the Bergkwartier.

Hahah ik.heb zelf 2keer meegedaan., en.dan in je rol blijven 1 keer lag er zelfs een.echt dun.laagje sneeuw . Toen.was het helemaal fantastisch! En de 2e keer was het koud. Zonder sneeuw. Misschien.een in uw agenda zetten in november dat dit evenement er is . Staat ook vaak op de vvv site ! Oh en komt vroeg dr wacht rij kan lang zijn.

Wir waren Gestern da. Erst mal haben wir über 4 Stunden angestanden ohne die Möglichkeit von einer Toilette oder was zu Essen zu bekommen und wir waren eigentlich nicht so Spät Morgen da. Das war schon übel. Aus dem Grund würden wir nicht noch einmal da hin fahren.
Das Festival war so sehr schön ohne Eintritt . Natürlich muss man auch da sagen die Preise für Getränke und Speisen waren schon sehr hoch. Ein kleines Siede Würstchen in einem Brötchen ,schlappe 6 bis 7 Euro. Eine kleine Waffel 4 Euro. Es muß natürlich auch alles Bezahlt werden, keine Frage. Aber das müsste nach unserer Meinung nicht so ganz sein. Es war sehr schön anzusehen und die Leute hängen sich auch richtig rein. Eine tolle Sache so weit. Es gibt in Holland auch andere Städte die es machen. Wo wir auf jeden Fall noch mal hin fahren.
