I love this motivation. I pray a lot in my car, because my small kids will not give me the time at home. I pray early in the morning before everybody is awake. i thank God for that time. I thank the Holy Spirit for being there as my Bestie and thank Jesus for creating that time for me to speak to me. My day can not be shaken after that.

My mother in law and husband are addicted to noise. Almost as if they fear silence. Televisions are going 24-7, literally. There's never silence in my bedroom or the family area of my house where my mil spends her time. I've taken to having my quiet time in my daughter's room after she gets settled in online school at the kitchen table. I expect God to speak to me there and he does. Hallelujah! I spend time in praise and prayer in my car also. Chaos will not deter me!

The word of God says , Decree a thing and it shall be establish," began to speak (decree) peace and quietness in the atmosphere of your home and it will happen.
I used to get up and watch the news with my breakfast before work for 30 minutes. Now I get up at 6am and use some of that time to read my Bible, pray and talk to God in quiet before everyone else gets up. It’s probably my favorite part of the day.

Priscilla Shirer is my favorite teacher/preacher/encourager. She is simply amazing. I purchased her book in my hunger and yearning to hear the voice of God. I too have had to position myself lately to hear from God. I find myself more in a prostate position then on a tower, but this is my process.

How can someone in USA who is teaching on how to 'hear' God, come out to 'tell' someone to give money out to an 'orphanage' in Nigeria? If God wants you to give to an organization, He will lead you to it or the orphanage will make a direct request for support. This 'revelation' does not seem right and is a ploy used by fraudsters.

God speaks to us every time we read the Bible. That is how He reveals himself to us. The Bible is definitely NOT second hand revelation as she claims.

Amen! I am one of those worshipping in my car on my drive to work, praying , singing, talking with God, crying to Him , thanking Him , what a wonderful, faithful, incredible God we have! Thank you Jesus for being our Lord and Saviour! Thank You for Your loving kindness! Thank You that You have paid it all! My sin debt completely wiped away, name written in the book of life ! How can we not think we will and do hear from God?

Oww, this is a wake up bell to me.I have no excuse to pray and to read my holly bible,God was spoke to me using your voice thank you and God bless you sister in Christ.
I agree 100%...you HAVE TO make God a priority! You have to, as she said set aside a certain time to be with the Lord. I always wake up 45 minutes early and that way, before the day can get hectic and stressful, I have had my time with the Lord. Does is make the day's less hectic or stressful, put it this way....I am human. I get caught up sometimes in the craziness, but I DO notice a difference in days where I have spent time with God and times when I have gotten up late, or been distracted and couldn't have or complete my time with God.
Another place I love to praise and worship Him is in my car. I pray and drive and get my " Jesus Jam" going on...singing and raising my hand in praise! I don't care who is around me...in my car, at those times it is the Jesus and me!!

You don’t really need a whole lot of space. I cleared a small space in my closet. Used a small table for my Bible and prayer list. I love my small space -its not fancy but it accomplishes my goal-to spend quality time in prayer. Thank you for your suggestions-God bless

One thing that I realised whenever I speak to God or say a little prayer is that what I was worried about before no longer bothers me and I just feel at peace, your focus will automatically change when you talk to God and thats why I always talk to Him whenever I feel down or happy or even when Im about to go somewhere.
