ulx is too much of a coinflip. some people get a decent or handpicked unit and then post a review about how great the ulx is. meanwhile anyone else who lost the qc lottery is stuck with a disappointing $200 mouse. thank you for keeping it real with the review.
my ulx was a batch 2 unit, and it's been fantastic ever since. Excluding the stragetical flexing spots they said and the inaligned scrollwheel, the mouse feels great to use tbh. The click is the lightest and the easiest to spam in any mouse, the sensor is also really good. But i stand with the thing that the price doesn't align with the quality of the product at all
I cant really agree with saying the bottom of the mouse creeking is an issue. When will you ever be applying enough pressure to the bottom of the mouse while playing to make this dangerous? On top of that, Finalmouse in the past has said its not safe to test the bottom of the shell because they are made out of Ultem. Its been the same since the Starlights, and thats how they are able to get very good click latency. For the scroll wheel, I found that it is a qc issue that over time, the wheel starts to lean. Out of the box my wheel was perfectly aligned. Now it is leaning more to M1. The shell is made out of Carbon Fiber, and people constantly forget the properties of Carbon Fiber. It is a very small layer of Carbon Fiber to keep the weight low. Carbon Fiber has always been known to flex, thats why they make hockey sticks out of it. The only way to get rid of it is to make a full shell mouse like the Akitsu and make the Carbon Fiber layer, thicker. This then adds weight, which goes against their original mission of making the lightest most responsive gaming mouse possible. Again, when will you ever grip the shell hard enough during play to notice this? I had to stop though at the skates though because I have a video of me unboxing the aceu and basically launching it across a cloth pad with minimal effort at all. FM stock skates have always been great, and I typically use them through because it is a waste of good skates.
@@sunwootech new qc issues are not in the norm for fm. they have released 4 small batches of the ULX since its release. A majority of qc issues have already been addressed with the ULX.

fyi, some people can afford to spend $200 and not really worry about it. its not like they make a new mouse every week. its a few times a year at best. if you don't have that kind of extra money then yeah buy something cheap. if you were under the assumption that this was a broke boi mouse then you were mistaken

i love my ulx cheetah aceu, every logitech mouse i had (4) had scroll wheel issues. so nice to have one that actually works. mine feels super solid, when aiming you're never squeezing the mouse anyway since its so light. the feet feel better when u wear them in. side buttons feel way better than logitech as well (superlight and gen 2). sensor lag is also better. my only complaint is the slow charging but its never been an issue. think i hit 50 battery once so far. xpanel is so much better than G hub too.
