my thoughts also. As soon as the narrator said they were from Oklahoma I started to try to listen for the Oklahoma influence in their speech. Fascinating. Then I saw your comment thereafter lol.
Hi, Folks. I haven't tried Wagyu Beef but just looking at the fat in those so-called 'grade 9' cuts didn't do a lot for me - too much fat. Give me a good kangaroo steak over that any time. But that muster does look like a LOTTTTA fun, nice country too. Just my 0.02. You all have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.
In Hungary I witnessed the same. The cattle just went in to the lake and came out on the other side. But this is all nothing.. Have you ever seen about 2000 domesticated goose flying across a river about 250 m wide. I have, they were flying in groups of 15 to 20 and they all started the flight running toward the water. They were marching in goose lanes.
Farmer to cow: What’s your last wish before you lay in pieces on a BBQ? Cow to farmer: A swim in the ocean to take my mind off of it...and salt those pieces for you, carnivore.
Huh, never heard of those cattle. Wonder if there's any in the US. A horsemen's rule of thumb. The rider should only weigh a quarter of the horses weight. I think that lady ought to check that out.
Since when has it not been called a mob? I grew up on Aussie cattle farm (not a station, a 500 hectares mixed grain and diary property on the downs). A herd is ALL your livestock as recorded in your herdbook. They are then divided informally, into "mobs" held in different paddocks or locations generally divided by age or breeding cows, steers yearlings etc. While cattle in situ were sometimes referred to as a mob, more often the term referenced a group of cattle being moved. They were moving part of their herd to take to sales therefore it was a mob. Fond memories of my Dad telling us kids at sunup to "move the young mob from the tank paddock down to Vehsey's back 40". Vehsey was a Thai royal family cattle man who was sponsored by Australian Government to live & work on our property & take the knowledge back to help train Thais in modern techniques in 1966. 30 year's latter the 40 acre (pre metric) paddock he helped clear of stones still bore his name!
@@legerdemain444 So they do it in NZ too? I have heard Aboriginals refer to their people as 'their mob'. When you say lifelong, how old are you? I have heard plenty of cockies refer to their herd without the use of the word mob.
It’s called bang tailing, it’s removing the hair for a bare tail so you can see what’s been mustered and what hasn’t, anything that isn’t bang tailed really stands out

Let's get something straight, that's not wagu. It's Australia's knock off. The reason they "like" a 7 grade is because they can't achieve Japan's Quality.
Amazing how the ABC thinks. On one side extremely woke and green and the other side still showing the life of Cattle and jackaroos, which is so not green

Australian are very smart in breeding & mustering cattle, create value commodity

how friggin cool is that
Oh yeah...Aussie and twangy American accent mix is super weird!
They have an understanding of my dislike of waygu. I prefer very lean beef.
Lol when a chef picks out a steak they look for one that is marbled with fat. More favour plus healthier as the fat helps you digest the meat.
Love wagyu! Amazing video 🙂

As a lifelong high country station farmer in NZ, only townies and Yankies call mobs of cattle "herds".

Just wish I could be a cattle owner.
I expected the “mob of cattle” to rampage but those cattle don’t look disorderly, riotous or destructive.

It is very animal cruelty
Their tails aren't docked. Take another look.
