Wow, this is... it's really... I can't remember this exact style, or this exact group, but I remember listening to dub, grime, and 2-step when I was still a teenager. Memories...
He is a dub plate king and mixing dan. The crazy thing is you hear newbies saying Slimzee can't mix which is disrespectful and absolute tosh. When you have 8 MCs on a set you have to gear your music and timing for them. We all know Slimzee could hold double drop mixes with great ease. He changed the style of mixing he was a pioneer.
@@TakeMeBackPirateRadio fair, but i never see slimzee regarded as a great mixer, def not be todays standards. However, ill take any mak 10 set from 2002 over any set, any time any year. True timeless mixing. Slimzos had the dubs, but mak had the mixes.
@@chef.ramesses If you check out his early Garage sets in 1999 and 2000 he pulls off the mixes also his jungle sets when he went under the name of Slim Fast you'll see the quality mixes. As the tunes got grimy and everything went 8 bad he started switching tunes a lot also because he had tons of MCs.
the sickest pulse
Could listen to this on loop all day no problem
Who remembers Pulse Eskimo?
nobody could tame this beat.
NOW THIS WAS THE PROPER BUMBACLART 'PULSE Y'.
Kicked off in every dance this was played in the early 2000s
Every time I hear this I think of Stormin .
Stormin murdered this track .
RIP Norman Stormin .
Probably the best mix of Pulse. Just reminds me of Wiley sending for Heartless. Ended the Garage scene with one Slimzee dubplate.
When Deja 92.3 ruled airwaves. Everyone was on there.
Superglue what, superglue 🤣👌🏾
Woooooooooo! This makes any mc sound boom. Even if your lyrics are dead
The good old days out of all the Pluse Y was the best
THIS TUNE WAS A GAME CHANGER!!
yea your goin in, i used to be in musical mob back inda day.
