    This is lovely!!! The best I've seen at this price point thus far with a great layout and use of space. I'm in Reading so this would be more than 590,000 for sure, maybe closer to 800,000 or 900,000. If I was in a position to, I would self-build something very similar, likely to be even cheaper than the 590,000. Like Summer said though, I would want a separate (and larger) fridge & freezer. For a house that size it should be standard, that's my only real beef.

    These new builds are the best I’ve seen. They’re really well designed and I love how the rooms have wardrobes which is something you don’t usually see on new builds, everything was just fully designed for families.

    This house in London would cost at least 1.5 million (in the cheaper parts of East London). Go west its 2.5 +. I like the house but don't like the fact that the garden is facing a motorway 😩

    • @ileanax8308
      @ileanax8308 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Cheaper parts of East London are Barking, Dagenham and Ilford. House prices in Aldgate, Canary Wharf, Shorditch, Mile End and anywhere near those post codes are still crazy. Absolutely INSANE.

    • @iolanndaa

    • @ileanax8308
      @ileanax8308 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Yes because if you risk going for a cheap property in London by buying somewhere like Plaistow then you risk being exposed to crime because the cheaper areas have higher crime rates. Most of us want to raise our kids in a nice and safe area where they will have company of decent people. We want to give our families a safe place to live.

      Thing is there are very few houses in Tower hamlets. The area is mostly council blocks (mile end,Whitechapel etc). The area isn't that bad just the buildings are ugly. so you have to go to Newham(which I've been told to avoid) and further for actual houses. From what I've been told Redbridge is decent and so is havering although I don't want to be in an area where I'd feel outcast as I've had friends living in Essex who have experienced racism.

      Sorry - I didn’t notice them! I see you have something called wardrobes in the larger bedrooms but not true closets with doors. No linen closets, walk in closets, pantries, storage closets. Wardrobes are only large enough for clothes on hangers and shoes! Just don’t see how that’s manageable.

    I like the layout, the riverside location and the back garden are fabulous. I Would build a full basement foundation of poured concrete and rebar with a ten-foot depth. That's something that Many English homes lack is a basement. That would bring it to the $700 range I figure but giving you nearly double the space would be worth it.

    In the office, you need a couple of plugs mounted on the floor so you can realistically mount a desk and computer in the center of the room. I assume the house is wired for internet with hardwiring in the office for a WI-Fi access point and TV mount and lounge/media rooms and the bedrooms and kitchen for a homework area? I also would make the plugs all quads and bring the service up to 20 amps for some of the media plugs. A setup to have a whole house backup generator would be a nice add-on.
