It's hilarious to me how high Isaac is on Omax after seeing essentially nothing from him, but is pretty much writing off Hardy after his most promising season yet. Hardy has definitely not gotten as many true chances as Isaac said. I believe in Omax and Hardy and hopefully they both get real opportunities this season and make the most of it.
You point out the hypocrisy..good on you. I was high on omax as well but after seeing summer League and how raw he was, I had to settle my expectations However, Hardy has some very bright moments even though he isn't consistent. It all matters on consistency day in and day out

Biggest takeaway from Fan Jam is that Marshall, Grimes & Spencer are head & shoulders better than DJJ, Green & THJ... So the team is much better, without even considering Klay... AND Daniel Gafford may be the above-the-break 3-pt shooter the Mavs needed all along lol.

Jaden had a good rookie reason especially next to Luka dm kyrie half way through the year, then has we go to the finals and had sum big moments leading up to it in his SECOND year! Treating him like he’s almost a vet and not wanting to give up on a guy that has been patient, a GREAT team guy, and has shown a lot and improvement seems a lil personal 👀👀
Had a decent rookie season and last year he barely got the chances. When he did, they had him playing the PG more. Hes showed potential but the pg role isn’t his natural role. He’s learning that position as he goes and I really wish they just used him how they used Timmy. Hardy has far better decision skills than Timmy and can get just as hot. Put him at the 2 and let him make decisions when he has to, the same way kyrie does with Luka on court. Let him play the 2 and let him choose whether he shoot’s or pass.

Dallas wants to see what they have in Hardy but the Mavs created contingencies when they traded for Grimes and signed Spencer again. Dallas is trying to make sure that they have at least 1 guard off the bench that can actually help Luka and Kyrie come playoff time. Exum left a bad taste in Kidd’s mouth when Exum shrunk in the playoffs. If Hardy plays to his potential Exum will sit wondering where he(Exum) might end up playing next and how much of an opportunity will he have to prove himself all over again? Injuries are apart of the game so and the Mavs have created great depth but something tells me that Spencer will be trusted before Exum is. O-Max is going to get some run early on and he will have a chance to create some value for himself. Not sure when Maxi will be available again so if we’re going to pick a player to watch early it’s definitely O-Max! O-Max is the truest enigma on this roster.

That’s his value over Green. Let’s not trash Josh on the way out the door. Quintin might not even be here next year. He has to earn his allegiance from the fans. Josh already had it. Hard worker and good teammate and 37.5% shooter from three. 58% career efficiency, 1.3 points per shot, less than a turnover a game, over 50% from the field overall. What about Grimes game is FAR SUPERIOR to Josh Green?
If you don’t understand the WIDE open 3’s that Luka was giving JGreen vs the 3’s that Grimes was getting. I love JGreen & am sad to see him go but at this point Grimes has an argument for being a better shooter than Green. JGreen is a way better dribble drive attacker than Grimes.

Grimes will shoot about 37% from three, just like his career average. Same for Klay (41.3) as it was with Kyrie (40.6 with Dallas, 39.3 for his career). You can make a good argument for Dinwiddie (33.3% for his career but 40.5 as a Mav). Didn’t work with PJ last year (35.4% vs 31.4 as a Mav). So mixed results at best.
