Longtime Buckeye fan here since the 1970s. Congratulations to Michigan on an outstanding victory over a highly rated opponent. Go Buckeyes 👊 Respect to Michigan ✊

Michigan fan here. I feel so much better after seeing what happened on Saturday. If I was locked into hopes and dreams for this year it would have been terrifying. But that's not what I'm locked into. We expected with all the personnel loss that this year wasn't going to be taking a shot at the NC. The bigger question for this year is can Sherrone Moore take us back there. I saw the team rally for a big win with no real passer and the top offensive weapon out with injury. That was good coaching. Also, the players showed a lot of resilience after going down. That's good leadership. Michigan football is in good hands. That means this season is a win.
Michigan beat Ohio state in 2021 with Cade going 13-19 for 159 yards .. This was orgi first start and this offensive line has played now 4 games together.. Give them some time this is a formidable Complete team that depends on every aspect of the game .
Mich won off 3 runs and a pic 6! Whats your point? No team is gonna play perfect. If you watched that game and you say Michigan wasn’t lucky to win this game your not being honest. And lets not mention the officals. Usc only falls 2 spots in the polls that lets you know it was a BS win!
@lasportslive6813 listen Idiot USC only scored a true 3 points the hole game OK.......Michigan lost 15 players from last year and only threw for 32 yards......What does that say about SC????.....Think about that Fool 😳 🤔 🙄
Sick of hearing what we learned from USC. They are a good team. What Michigan did was outstanding. Now if Kirk Campbell can be innovative and draw some plays up for the wide receivers. Obviously run first but we need to develop some passes.
I am a life long U of M fan since the 1970's and want our team to do well but also very realistic about where we are. The comments from fellow fans about winning 10 or more games or making the playoffs or beating OSU are not reasonable. We are not at that level this year. Yes, we will improve but so will those teams. This team should be measured on growth and development and not just wins. This team is probably only going to win 8 or 9 games at the most. We got lucky in the fourth quarter on Saturday with Mullins breaking that tackle otherwise we lose the game and the conversation from everyone on here is very different. Don't let that one play make it so you see things that aren't there. We had a good game plan and executed well in the first have but then USC made adjustments and we were screwed (except for that broken play). Fellow Michigan fans be honest with yourselves about who this team is. Be optimistic but don't look foolish and act like we are better than we really are. Go Blue!
People's memories are so short. When JH first got to Michigan, he was bringing in top 10 recruiting classes and guys who ended up drafted, and Michigan still couldn't beat Ohio State or win bowl games. And then people wondered why we had a problem with JH. He had elite players --ESPECIALLY ON DEFENSE--and still was losing to Wisconsin and Penn State every other year and was even struggling to beat Sparty. Then he changed strategy around 2020 when that season was a complete mess and his job was basically threatened, i.e. different technique hiring assistant coaches and recruiting classes not being top 10 anymore. There is a reason why Ari is sitting here saying stuff he said about Michigan before turned out to be wrong--he doesn't know what he's talking about.
We had this type of defensive talent last year. We had Aidan Hutchinson and Ojabo in past years. We had Rashan Gary, Jabrill Peppers, and Dax Hill. There has been defensive talent for more than two years.
The passing game will evolve for Michigan but man, Kirk Campbell is just awful at playcalling. This Michigan team is built just like Urban Myer’s earlier OSU teams and they did a lot of winning but it’s because they knew how to use what they had. I think they should fire Campbell immediately and get someone in at OC who knows what they’re doing or it’s gonna be a long season.
One thing... It is VERY regular for us to have this much talent on the defense. Maybe more spread out, but that's potentially even better. Look at the 2016 michigan defensive roster and you'll find a TON of nfl players. Same for other years.
First off, learn how to say my coaches name. show my coach, some respect. 2. Andy I’m glad someone finally said it’s not Sherrone’s fault for our QB situation. JJ Was supposed to stay. He said he would. things change. There’s no hate. I can’t wait for next year. I’m going to be a Vikings fan. Praying for a speedy recovery. We have Jaden Davis next year. Not sure what we’re gonna do with Alex Orji. Since he has two years of eligibility of left maybe he’ll transfer to Colorado could you imagine him in the big 12 he would destroy that league. And even still, we’re recruiting quarterbacks 4 ⭐️ carter smith ‘25 class and 5 ⭐️ Brady Hart. .’26 class. Sherrone Moore will bring us into the top 5 in recruiting in 3 years. BET!
When did it become that you need to be a national championship level team to have a successful season? As a Michigan fan, last year was amazing. Loved it. But that's not every year. If we play like we just did this weekend each week and go 9-3, this year will have met expectations and I'll be fine with the season. 10-2 and lose in the first round of the playoffs, exceeded expectations. Too many people are making themselves miserable thinking it's national championship or bust every single year

Cade McNamara threw for 40 yards vs Washington in 2021, Michigan ran the ball 32 consecutive times on the road in happy valley Vs 9th ranked Penn St last season but washerman doesn’t think winning that way is sustainable.
