1 of the best tunes ss ever done i think got absulotly rinsed out at raves but still can never get bored of it allways sounds good even thogh ive heard a million times
lighter!, I remember down at a.w.o l. Paradise club in islington. Many nights till 1pm Sunday from 10pm saturday from 6pm. Randall tearing it up!. Yah nah.
remember ss dropping this at kinetic in the january - bout 400 people (all that were in there) went apeshit...goosebumps all over when the bass kicks in...
did you know thie orig mix was done by a bloke called sean miller in the basement of garry austin, both of forest gate.using garry's record box, from 1/3 creation sound system also of forest gate. the final remix. was done in those tall tower block flats you see on your left on your way to west ham station,or canning town.
Yeah fair comment. Think I was a bit charleyed when I wrote that last novel! Yeah I know pendulem have gone far to mainststream with all those samey sounding riffs, it's drum n bass for people who know no better. Any one remember Hardstep Intelligent Drum And Bass?
I understand what you're saying. Like I said, I think there's a lot finer/better DnB than Pendulum. Yes, I agree with their tunes being a bit cheesy every now and then.. But I also think they did a good job on some tracks (for example: the voodoo people remix, Toxic Shock, and that intro of Slam is just smashing!). It's just a matter of taste. I just think people should let go of trying to smash Pendulum down to the ground every time DnB comes up(like cashd666 says). Enough is enough.
Wish youtube had a speed control so I could mix all these old tracks together. Oh, and Stephen, who I gave all my DnB vinyl to all those years ago, if you're reading this, you better be fucking spinning these tracks once in a while!
@sk8alday45 its actually the Theme From Love Story, but Immortal Technique used it too, and so did many other hip hop producers, me included, forgot who did the original though :/
where did this piano "riff" come from ?? it is also in immortal technique's "dance with the devil" ... but damn, i never knew dnb and hip hop rap were actually connected. too bad people dont see that anymore :(
Found this on vinyl the other day. Neighbours were lovin it.
