I started my laser hair removal journey last december with a Dioden-Laser (Spark Pro Laser). I use Lidocain numbing cream, yet it's still painfull. It works since the laser kills the growing hair.
I do have the ulike air 10 purple and it works amazingly, one must be consistent and treat the hair every other day for one month tho, but i did see results within the first two weeks!
I have had alopecia universalis (no hair on head, no eyebrows, no eyelashes and no body hair) for 20 years. I'm watching the whole of this fillum anyway!

@@micahrowe unfortunately not, the dark pigment needs to be present underneath the skin and down to the root of the hair, so that it can be blasted/damaged in order to not regrow.

I bought a fancy IPL machine back in 2012 when I started university and wanted to preserve my twinkdom, I also tried an Epilator but that was the most painful experience of my life. The IPL did indeed work well but as an 18 year old I was not committed enough to keep using it regularly, the advances in the tech over the last decade seem to be worthwhile, it would be nice to have dial bulbs and a cooled head, I wonder if the flash recycle time is also faster as covering large areas like legs used to take FOREVER
