“First things first…..I’m the realest”……😂😂😂😂 it was the way you seamlessly dropped the classic Iggy lyric and got back to BUGO business without skipping a beat 💙💙🔥🔥
I did my four categories as “INTO”: I: “In” (items that worked or that i liked and are therefore going IN my next journal. N: “Need” (things i NEED to add or need to figure out how to track). T: “Try” (things i’ve seen others do that i want to TRY). O: “Out” (things i’ve done that didn’t work or i didn’t like or i’ve seen and don’t apply to me and are therefore OUT of my next journal)
Ooo could make it a "WANT" analysis. W - wins/working A - aversions N - needs T - trials 😈 Haha, like "before setting up your journal, you need to figure out what you WANT" 😝
Would love a part 2 of this stream where you show us planning out your theme/decorations for your nujo, planning out what the layouts are going to look like, and sketching things in. When you do set up videos you've already done this part but would love to see it!!! Thanks for the stream, I enjoyed it!
Happy news - you can now get Archer & Olive again in the UK! 🥳 Art From the Heart and Under the Rowen Trees have them. The choice is limited - buy - hey - we can get them!
Team Replay Watching for the third time...I get something new out of it each time I rewatch it. Love my ADHD...Adore the video, tons of great info! Bravo!
Glad to have found your videos!! I've been judging/shaming myself for both not using my journal and not making it pretty enough to enjoy using it. It's very validating to hear that making it pretty is OKAY and sometimes necessary! I think with my next journal, I want to pick a colour palette for the whole thing to keep it limited and reduce the amount of decision-making I needed to do each spread or layout.
Sounds like a good system 👌 I love playing with colour palettes and making things look cohesive 😄 While I normally only do month-long themes like that, a journal-long one would certainly simplify decision making 💪
Just setting up my first bujo - your videos are super helpful - thank you. I have the same wonderstruck notebook - but I have square - from under the Rowan tree in the UK. I have done the key and the grid spacing guide so far - still a bit nervous to get going as the notebook is so beautiful! Thanks Jess - I appreciate your guidance. Fran
This video is perfect timing. I couldn’t resist the June 2024 sub box and started my A&O subscription. And I certainly need help figuring out how to do this.
Was only able to watch 5 mins of the live, now I'm watching the replay while folding laundry. Im totally stealing the small calendar/list that you made for the content calendar ad applying it to my work calendar. I thought the quarterly overview would have been a good choice but I have to capture too much data for the space I would have.
Darn it. Ive already started on my 2025 journal and im working on april... Debating on scraping it and starting over in a new onw and using my current one as a rnd journal...ive learned so much the past few days binge watching your content 😭😍😅
@@JashiiCorrin it's alright. I just discussed it with my husband and he supports me getting a new journal and using this one as an rnd journal ❤️😅 so problem is solved with plentyyy of time left to prepare the new one. I won't use it if it's not already set up
Liked and subbed! Great content and ideas. Now, I'm going to go back and binge some videos...New to BUJO, gathering ideas, but also like to decorate. You have helped me bring together lots of outside ideas, and be more concise with my needs and wants. NOW I'm ready to set up. Thank you for sharing! ❤
I just finished eating dinner and it's relaxing time for me rn. I've watched a couple of your videos before this one (bc I want to decide if i want a bujo for myself)
I missed watching jess. I got so behind on video watching with the readathon and then my trip to Iceland that I'm only just now finally somewhat catching up
This live stream has been fabulous!! So helpful, truly, I can't thank you enough. I haven't gone to links yet in description - but very keen to see your Leisure Dashboard.
Someone said they were trying ot figure out a mood tracker that works for them -- make it a bookmark, so it's always on the page you're on, and don't use colors for indicators, so you can fill it in when you remember, not when you have your markers with you.
Every time you acknowledge that "you probably don't have Vogel as one of your life areas" in your videos, I cannot stop laughing to the idea of someone actually adding that to their daily chores 🤣 I might honestly add it just for fun as a reminder of watching your videos and the goal course attending 😁
I was thinking that you liked your spread that includes the details of the materials you use for each monthly setup. But since you had it for the entire quarter, you only filled the page for the first monthly. What if you added it to each monthly set up within the monthly set up? That way you have the materials recorded as you use them
Usually a modular style page with different sections for different information 😊 eg a project dashboard could have sections for timeline, tasks, budget, people’s responsibilities, etc
Have you thought about getting help with your Instagram post verbage by letting your Team vote on a title (some accountability to help your follow through) or just post the clip/image and let them create what should go with the Instagram post. Just thoughts

Great success! 🥳
So many good ideas here I have to keep stopping and reflecting before restarting the video. Thanks! 📚💕
Glad they were useful for you 😄💜

Thanks Amy! Glad you liked it! 😄💜
This is the first plan with me that is actually a plan with me, and I didn't realize I needed it till I saw this. Thank you!
Most welcome! Glad you liked it 😄💜

Ooo. Sneaky Iggy Izz reference at 3:17 😆

I ordered that journal with my summer order. Missed it first time around.
Trying to figure out my first journal. That is on its way.

It's a Public Holiday in Western Australia too. WA Day
Oh nice! Happy WA Day 😄💜

Thanks! Glad the stream was helpful 😄💜
I mainly did flowers from 🎒 different sticker books
Floral themes are a great staple 💪💜
Dang it! I missed the stream! I just bought a TN from an artist on Etsy and am looking for ideas before I move over from my A5 Leuchtturm1917.
Drats 😝 Hopefully next time 🤞 Hope the replay was still useful for you though! 💜
I am prepping for what I will need to put in my Q3 journal. I really want to hit the last of the year hard.
Heck yeah 💪 I feel you on that! 😄

😂 certainly a fun Easter egg for your planner 😝
I just use discbound because I can't stick to any concept of a plan, and it lets me just keep moving things around... lol

The purple moon journal is screaming for me to buy it 😂😂😂
It's super pretty! 💜
My current journal will last until September, but I'm itching to start the next one 😂
1:37:00 Yes please to s minimal setup.
I am eating waffles and planning out my next journal spreads 😊
omg...I want waffles so bad now 😝
I wish I'd been earlier to the live (I got there for the last 15 mins). I would have said at 57:00 to just take a photo with your phone. 😝
I always struggle with mind maps. It just hasn't clicked for me yet.
You're not the only one. I struggle with it too. My mind map turns into a mess instead of any clarity on what I need to put in my journal, etc.
@@amypoole30 Same! And then I forget why I wrote something on there because I wasn't specific enough 😂
where you get the feather washi

Heck yeah for Team Replay 🥳💪
