nice video great to watch someone with a different tactic however having horses with gondor especially on hard is a big mistake in my opinion since mordor AI tends to send mumakils and rhun soldiers to wich the horses are weak. the known tactic of archer+tower guards batallions can easily counter both of them. maybe 1 or 2 horse can be useful to counter the siege weapons . even with rohan you should go for horse archers and only have 1 or 2 melee. ultimately you did win (by rushing down the AI) but later on having a weak army and not being able to counter the AIs attack will get you to lose high level batallions wich is not good. but I liked the video so here is my like take it :)
I usually just spam a bunch rangers/elves and have a few horsemen for siege. I did get a bit carried away with horses this playthrough wanting to change it up from my usual archer spam. As a kid I love using the horse archers but now I just find them annoying to micro especially keeping the melee heroes with them but they are the best unit in the game, until the final level (at least on 2.22) imo
@@sirjdog21 yeah i get you. me personally i have no problem with the final level but helms deep and minas tirith is a bit annoying in 2.22 hard because you really need to tap into micro if you want to end the map with the units you want to carry on
