- The cities of Europe remain unmatched to the rest of the world! From the canals of Venice, to the Ancient ruins of Athens, it's impossible to beat the history and architecture of Europe's cities. I've spent the last few years traveling Europe and I want to show you my favorite cities! This video was months in the making and i'm so excited to finally share it with you! I tried to include cities from all parts of Europe. Where is your favorite European city?

Not only is this video visually stunning, but I loved learning about all the history behind the cities. It’s crazy and sad that so many cities were destroyed during world war 2, I can’t imagine what they must of looked like before.
The history is so interesting and intriguing to learn about! It’s so unfortunate that so many cities were destroyed like Warsaw and Rotterdam, but I guess it just makes the history that more fascinating :)

I am coming from Slovenia,which is beautiful country..from rivers,lakes,caves,sea to mountains and good food.I visited Italy,Croatia,Germany,France,Netherlands,Turkey etc..every country has its own charm and beauty.

@@RyanShirley I am from Jelenia Góra, which is 120 km from Wrocław :) I recommend visiting Karkonosze Mountains, they are obviously not so big as Alps, but anyway the're gorgeous! ❤️ However, I totally agree that Gdańsk is beautiful, the seaside has always been my favorite place in the world!

0:37 Hey Shirley, Thanks for showing the latest Big Ben Bell (Elizabeth Tower) image, with some more of the scaffolding coming down. Such a treat for Londoners to see, after the restoration of the tower for the past two years. (three years all together). The Big Ben Bell, has been silent for the entire three years so it may soon start to chime again, which will be good.
One can hear it "like now" (three am, when one is awake and not sleeping) at three am sounding out its melody on the hour, reminding that you ought to go back to bed !

Well put together for this European Cities video Ryan. Almost all the cities you listed are on my personal goal to visit at least 30 European countries. So far I’ve been to France (in which I need to go visit Paris again) and I just went to Italy in January, seeing Rome, Vatican City, Pisa, Florence & Venice, and I plan to visit Switzerland this fall!!
There is one European city I think you could’ve added and I’m not sure if you visited it before: Sofia, Bulgaria

I've visited Athens, Patras and Thessaloniki. Athens is my favourite of those 3! Very beautiful, the ancient ruins, the nightlife, the urban scenery, so many options to have a nice time. Patras is great, the food, the city, the 2 ports are literally into the city, crystal blue sea, wonderful nightlife and i visited the stunning bridge. Thessaloniki was good but nothing special. I liked ladadika but that's all. Piece.

@@RyanShirley Fresh air, fresh water :D Not too populated, and not too much traffic. I loved growing up close to the nearby forest and mountains. The place is quite laid-back, but also expensive :P

Haven’t had the chance to visit Europe for over 20 years. It is a very long way away from my home in New Zealand. Many European cities are, indeed, amazing.

I’d love it if you made a video talking about how you got to live in all of these places for so long ( Switzerland, Hawaii, etc) like if you worked or did school or had family or just used making videos as your main source of income to support your travels. I’d love to learn how long term travel has become so accessible to some people cuz I’m trying to make my life around it!

@@RyanShirley Yeah, I hope so. 😅 By the way, I'm from the capital, Santiago, but recently got news on moving to the UK in March, so I can finally go to all those places because I am much closer and it's much more affordable. 😁
You're welcome to France ! I recommend going to Paris first but you should also see the countryside or other regions at least. For instance my region, Brittany (in the northwest) is a must see and a hidden gem, with cities like Saint-Malo, Carnac or Camaret-sur-Mer. Otherwise i think the southern region of Ardèche is awesome too! Renting a car is advised but trains are rather good here as far as I can tell. Greetings from France ;)
Braga-( Guimarães), Évora, Portalegre, Guarda, Bragança, Santarém, Aveiro, Faro, Angra do Heroísmo, Funchal, etc are nice Portuguese cities too!🇵🇹👍🏻

You should have visit Bulgaria as well. Plovdiv, Sozopol, Nesebar, Rila mountain and so much more ....
Yes Plovdiv and Veliko Tarnover are gorgeous.
Check out the bulgarian cities of Plovdiv, Nesebar and the capital Sofia.
Bulgaria is very underrrated and it is so cheap to travel here!

I've been travelling all around and Italy remains unmatched
It's truly hard to beat Italy and its countless magical cities.
Italy is on the top of my list. When I was in a volunteer program, I was in the Eastern and Western Europe most of the time, Italy is unfortunately too far. I will someday visit the beautiful country.

@@RyanShirley I been all over southeast Asia. Been to Europe but only the Netherlands. I'd love to spend a good 3 weeks in Europe and spend a few nights in each. If i had the time I'd be gone for months. London, Edinburgh, Serbia, Berlin, definitely on the list. South America and Africa too. I wanna see everything!!
