Expecting 9 Lac to 13 Lac for petrol. 10 to 14 Lac for Diesel and 11 to 15 Lac for GT line. If Kia seltos wish to be in market they need to attract potential customer with more features in less prices. Example is MG Hector, which is now top selling suv beating Harrier and Compass.
The Hector is actually not an MG product. It is basically a reworked Chinese vehicle called Baojun 530. So they can throw in a lot of features. The Harrier is basically a Land Rover platform which TML re-engineered for India. So the higher initial cost means that they are limited in terms of features they can throw in without driving up the price. Kia Seltos is built on a reworked Creta platform which itself is the i20 platform ( a small car platform ). So the sheer economy of scale means they can price it very competitively and throw in a lot of features ( as the basic componentry is not very expensive at the outset. The engines are shared with Hyundai and will be fitted to the next Creta and mostly the next-gen Verna as well.

I would like to submit that how Kia motors has cheated Indian customers by not delivering the car with in 30 days as promised. Which was supposed to be delivered on 10th Nov. They delibrately delayed the delivery and passed month of November and December. On 2nd of January they offered the delivery on revised price which is 80000 higher than the original price. Kia launched in India on 22 Aug. And an overwhelming response received by the co., Which I believe they have not expected at the time when auto sector in India was in bad phase. Delivered few cars revised the rates and not given the cars to most of the buyers who have booked it. The co has just started in India and within 4 months cheated thousands of it's customers.
KIA Seltos a very nice car and can be a game changer. First time launching into Indian car market KIA should consider below points for Pricing the car: - Current Indian Automobile market was running downsided. (Lack of sales) - Government promoting Electric Cars in India. (The Future cars) - Price Aggressively like MG hector, Ford EcoSport (i.e. less price compared to its competitors) - All top features in top end GTK+ varient like Sunroof, 7DCT, 360° camera, Traction/Drive modes, Bose speakers, HUD, Ventilated seats (Power to surprise for Value for Money).
Hi , One suggestion required, which petrol variant of Seltos is more value for money? HTK+ or HTX or GTK !! Is it worth spending on turbo petrol or normal petrol engine? Look forward to hearing from you.
Diesel top end is not cmng with 6airbags n 360°camera ..so then its not worth to take topend model without these safety features👎😡🤐Really disappointed with this, it really pushing me to cancel my prebooking.

first of all the company provides a test drive for just 1km only once. all the features are only for GT lines. 6 air bags only for Gt line others 2. wireless charging, heads up display & all other features are mostly are not deal breaker. its a nice airy cabin unlike the (harrier & nexson) where you need blind spot views. however the air quality thing is a good one. its good car but highly priced. I feels the GTI should have been 15lakhs on road max. i test drove it twice . it was good feeling but not anything out of the box experience . far tall people more than 6ft , the head is going to brush against the roof . People are booking it rapidly inspite of 3 & half months of waiting period. Wait & watch till Feb 2020, the bubble will burst . All the best.
It is surprising that why Kia is not considering to offer all the safety features in higher variants of HT trim petrol automatic , what all they are offering in GT trim.

Rajesh Pilania nope this was the production model. The rollout happened after that basis the availability of the Chief Minister of AP coming to the plant. Initially the rollout was planned for Aug 3 - so the official rollout was delayed. But it doesn’t mean we drove prototypes I assure you. SVP
Your reviews did not talk about rear passenger comfort and can it sit 3 people. You also mentioned about Diesel being quite power and fun to ride whereas I believe it's opposite as it lacks the power.
All these kia MG will fade away as the established brands themselves r struggling. MG was claiming they had thousands of booking. I havnt seen one till now
Dashboard plastic quality seems to be just above average, surely not the premium, how ever quality of buttons are good. I wish silver inserts could have been replaced with chrome at door handles - opener and around the AC vents. Rest all looks top notch, no doubt... :)

This review was more comprehensive than ACI's but you guys skipped telling about safety features and also if bose sound systems really sounds great.

The market is in slowdown bcz of ppl being unsure of the availability of BS6 ENGINE.. Maruti.. Tata...all dont have BS6 diesel version..
