*I am a big fan of kingdom Rush series.
*I have never bought a hero or used extra items from the shop to win the game.
*I believe the developers did a pretty good job with these games, that you can always figure out a way to win them without the extras.
*I have finished all the 4 parts in Veteran or Impossible mode
*I have finished all the Iron and Heroic challenges in Hard mode (Except 2 levels in the first part and I don't think I will ever able to finish them in hard mode)

By the way, I'm thinking like this: Looking at the strength of all the towers in KRV, we can conclude that in the time after the fall of Vez'nan and Malagar, the monsters began to degrade, the Swamp Thing boulders no longer hit multiple targets, the Lava elemental forgot how to hit the area and began to hit on one target, Bluegales now instead of a bunch of thunderclouds can summon only one small cloud that does not even heal warriors (they also shoot pink spheres from their staff instead of lightning bolts), Shadow archers now sit in towers alone, although they were dangerous before just in huge clusters (they also tamed the stupid crow for some reason), Demon lords (infernal mage) now cannot create shields for their allies, Tainted Treants (Rotten forest) have lost their strong defense and now they are no stronger than goblins, and so on many.

What is this headcannon?if the stats were proportional between games you would win every level with a single tier 1 tower,is that fun?no,so they obviously balanced the towers and enemies accordingly.
Also demon lords are NOT infernal mages,completely different units.
Most of our heros become villains and vice-versa in Vengeance since technically we are the baddies.

@@Kingdom-Rush_kali yeah I tried it out though, she can silence enemies, turning into frogs, and about something a broom though there's an option that you can change wicked sister's attacks

The swamp thing is really strong and can also throw slime balls that makes them more dangerous.
I was using the magic towers to get rid of them as quick as possible 😂

Musketeer Headshot can do insta-kill
But most of the enemies in that level has resistance to archers and artillery
So I prefer magic towers in that level.

They are based on the twilight harassers from Kingdom Rush Origins.
in Kingdom Rush Frontiers the necromancers joined our ranks and in Kingdom Rush they were enemies they are one of the reasons I am not sure we are the good guys in Kingdom Rush Frontiers

I used to think we were the good guys in Frontiers and I completely believed it.
But now after you raised this question, I am thinking about it again.
Apart from vasile, the other bosses in frontiers are either animals or bosses who are controlled by a bad guy (the Genie and Umbra)
So, may be we are invaders in kingdom rush frontiers.
We were trying to conquer the forest and desert and the animals and creatures in the forest and desert were attacking us (some of them were not even enemies)
So, now I think, we were not really good guys in frontiers.

1 no one was controlling Nazeru (the genie) or Umbra (the shadow god) and according to the lore Umbra was a cataclysmic entity with the power to end the world
2 we fought an entire tribe of cannibalistic savages and we can watch them cannibalize people in-game (so the cannibalism is not just rumors)
3 we saved some dwarves who (and I quote) "dug too deep" dwarves have been shown to be allies of good
4 we fought invading aliens in the jungle confirmed by finding hidden Yautja to be legally distinct non-copyrighted xenomorphs
5 we have the hero Bone Heart who (if you read the lore) used to be a good dragon allied with the elves
however
1 we bunked with strange allies (necromancers, tribal axethrowers, DWAARP, and assassins guild)
2 we allied with many different pirates at three different locations (assuming you include the extra campaign Rising Tides)
3 we did invade huge swathes of land (the desert, the jungle, and the underground)
4 among our heroes are a skilled voodoo practitioner, an amazing assassin, a pirate, and an alien with the term 'sky hunter' attached
so I ask again are we the good guys or the bad guys?

It’s clear there is no black or white in Frontiers.
There is only grey.
I think we are good guys who doesn’t mind to bend the rules to win the war.
Like most of the kings in the past, we conquer places and fight enemies.
Good or bad is depending on who wrote the history.
Let’s assume we are good guys.
And where are Zombies and Black Hag aka Wicked Sisters ?
Actually I didn’t get a chance to try them as they are paid towers in the iPad version.

I remember the necromancer from KingdomRush 1 become a tower in KingdomRush Frontier isn’t he?
There is a lot of similarity between the Necromancer from kingdom rush and the Necromancer tower in Frontiers.
But they are not the same.

Nah, deep devil's reef is the worst among the paid towers. It's cool and all for it to be melee tower and magic tower but sadly lacking in both.
For melee role it only has two soldiers and don't really have any proper cc and sustain. Plus the net throw ability is really bad, sure it stops the enemy but also making them invincible in the duration of the net. So you have no way of killing captured enemy and you'll just be overwhelmed when they're released if you don't have enough damage dealer.
For magic tower role it has lower damage and has no aoe. That perfect storm ability only deal damage to one enemy. It's more worse when the tower use the ability on a low health enemy and just disappear after one lighting struck before cd.
So combine two poorly executed role into one tower does not make it better. Definitely the worst paid tower.

I signed up to be beta tester for vengeance when it was still in development. When Ironhide foreshadow the release of the upcoming tower I'm actually really hyped for deep devil's reef. But it turns to be a disappoinment. 😂
I've sent complaint and my opinions about the tower but still didn't have any improvement till today.

Just out of curiosity, How you become a beta tester for Vengeance?
That tower is pretty good, as I like the barrack-like towers deck (Elite Harassers, Dark Knights, Orc warriors den, Deep devil's reef, Grim cemetery/Swamp thing)
But the skills of that tower would be better, For example: Redspine increased stats ability give them kinda more damage health that it does, net will not make the enemy invincible anymore (it need some resprite), but on big or flying enemies it will just slow down them, perfect storm instead of dealing damage to one enemy, will appear as pile of thunderclouds that slowing and damaging enemies and heal the Redspines (like in Frontiers).
That would be amazing.
But I am afraid such a strong tower will make the game play a lot easier.
