One of the few places on the east coast where the continental shelf comes in very close to the coastline (ie very deep water within casting distance).
Back in the day land-based fishermen used to catch marlin and big tuna.

yep......still do at the 'otter tubes' but you have to be quick to get a spot and perfect weather 🙂

Amazing rock formations and I love that amphitheater, it’s on the growing list of place I have to visit. Thanks for sharing 🙏

    Wow!!!!!
That track sure is narrow... amazing geology, the patterns from erosion, you can just ponder how it all happened over millennia... always fascinates me. Thwump, thwump... the ocean's talking to you.
Awww. that cave.... (oh, Amphitheater....... WOW!!!)
What an awesome picnic spot, and you had the place all to yourselves... excellent.
Anty!!! your phone camera picked hip up really well.
    Thanks for sharing

Thanks Shaz ... yep pretty amazing, we did luck out, not many around at all.
Lots more exploring to do, it was very windy that day so missed out the views from the very top, so "we" need to climb up for a look.
That Amphitheater was aquatically amazing, wish i could play a violin.
Yes have ditched my big camera, phone cams as so brilliant now, have a small Gorilla grip stand for it, its great, I know you would like one. :-)
