A very good way to begin my Sunday. There was a time change and I accidentally woke up an hour early. I got to listen to both of these messages on prayer. I know that every christian is called to prayer but I am fairly sure that there are some whom God has uniquely called to prayer. It's not that they are somehow super christians etc. but I think that God lays on their hearts a compelling desire to pray. It's seems, at least to me, that God raises up some who are compelled to stand in the gap, as it were, and plead the cause of Christ. What a privilege to come to Christ in prayer.
I always try to pray God's will instead of what I want b/c I don't want to sound selfish in my prayers. It's not about me, but about what He wants for me, I want what He wants.
