Active listening is one of the key skills in counselling. People are so used to being ignored. To actively listen and to repeat back what a person has said to you means, I care about you, I acknowledge that what you're saying has value, it means I genuinely want to properly understand what you're saying to me because you have value. For some people that can literally be the difference between life and death.

Pastor-We are ALL witnessing a “dress rehearsal” to where we choose our destiny. Let the masks come off and put on the full armor of God! Preach it!

Beautiful. Powerful. Anointed. What a blessing, what a word and what an incredible message from heaven. Thank you for your sacrifice and your service to the Almighty King of Kings the Lord of Lords Jesus Christ and God our Heavenly Father.

Personally, I think it’s important to make a distinction here; because I find the timing of this message to be … well, somewhat curious. By that I mean the passage from Psalms 39:1 “I will restrain my mouth with a muzzle …” is being emphasized at a time when people are already forced (against their God given will - for all intents and purposes) to be muzzled (with a mask).
For Scripture also tells us not to cover our mouths. Ezekiel 24:22 “And ye shall do as I have done: ye shall not cover your lips, nor eat the bread of men.” In addition, 1 Timothy 5:17-18 “Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine. For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward.” And there are more, of course.
Obviously, God wants His Word to be spread, openly and freely (not muzzled). So, I’d say the distinction to be made lay in the forces of good & evil that actualize it (the muzzling). That is to say, in the context of taking the initial message literally. In other words, don’t be led astray into thinking that compliance with the mandates “of this world” (to wear a mask) are in compliance with The Word of God. After all, He knows well the importance of our “breath of life”, and our ability to do so freely and willfully.

Thank you Pastor. So true words are so important.
If words said by frustrated parents with too.much on their plates during ones childhood are reinforced in ones marriage. It kind of stumps ones growth as a person, breaks you down and you want to just throw back evil words to defend yourself.
