Mam, Today I have completed the learning of day 14 class. I would like to suggest you that in past action sentences, we should write time/date/month invariably as you said, but it requires some insistence on the learners on that point.. Other thing is teaching Idioms and Phrases at this stage will not be useful to the learners. It is very difficult to use in day to day usage by learners.
