Engineers often communicate via rough freehand sketches to refine and
improve the design. Freehand sketching does not require drawing instruments to draw, but just a pencil and paper. In Engineering Graphics, we use freehand sketching to draw orthographic views from the given pictorial view of a real-life object.

This is the basic subject in Technical drawing. Mastering the subjects like Engg. Graphics and Machine drawing are essential before learning any CAD software such as solidworks, CATIA etc. If you have expertise in these software, you'll get a job in ITES sector industries.
