*RARE* Two Freight Trains/Workings In The One Consist! | 4S44 & 4S10 At Carstairs 15/10/22

Filmed In Full HD. You aren’t seeing things, that really is a class 88 in the middle of that intermodal train! This was the rare sight of two freight trains/workings in the one consist, filmed at Carstairs on the night of the 15th of September 2022. The two freight trains in question were 88009 ‘Diana’ at the from with 4S44 from Daventry to Mossend and 88005 ‘Minerva’ in the middle of the train with 4S10 from Tilbury to Coatbridge. 88008 ran into problems between near Beattock, but fortunately, 88005 was running several hours late with 4S10 and as a result, was able to assist by pushing 4S44 up the climb to Beattock Summit. Both workings then continued north together and are filmed passing Carstairs. Interesting to note there were 54 wagons on total over twin container sets!
