something i love about suarez is how happy he gets when his teammates score. not one goal goes back without him raising his arms happily when someone else scores. he's just such a team player

As bad as this season was, at least we won a trophy. Kenny managed this side really well in the cups and we should’ve won the FA cup too. My least favourite season is the 14/15 season by an absolute mile. It was the biggest disappointment given the previous season
God knows where we would've been without Bellamy and Suarez. Still annoyed that Kenny broke up the Suarez, Maxi, Kuyt and Meireles diamond that created so many goals the previous season.

@@martynstembridge7714 He was under pressure because we wasted so much money on Carroll. Looking back we should've saved it and tried to tempt someone like Mata in the summer. When those 4 played, they scored though. That Maxi goal at Chelsea was pure class, don't think even our current front 3 could move the ball like that.

Surprised Suarez didn’t leave in January or at the end of this season. Thank god Gerrard convinced him to stay. We won’t get a player like him again for a long time. Such a unselfish player.

@@aidarbekberdalinov6263 I know but he had a poor season for his standards due to being surrounded by poor players and Gerrard was injured half the year. In 12/13 Gerrard allowed Suarez to be at his best because he provided a lot of assists for him plus when Sturridge and Coutinho arrived in January we were so much better compared to the first half of the season.

I don't know whether I'm looking forward to the 13/14 video or dreading it. Knowing how that season ends is still painful to think about, even if it was a good season for us overall
Imagine where we would’ve finished had the shots that hit the woodwork went in🤦♂️. Played good football that season at times, but the finishing was completely hopeless. Not many goals either. My eleven year old self couldn’t take the stress😂
I belive that we break a record that year. Hiting a woodwork about 25+ times. Imagine wath if half of that was goals?
I remember working it out at Christmas that season. If half of our post hits & missed pens had gone in, we'd have been 3rd at the New Year. I didn't work it out for the 2nd half, but it probs would've been much the same.

This was a memorable season for me.
Two cup finals. Beating Machester United in FA Cup. Suarez Genius.
Very entertaining football but absolutely hopeless finishing. Also opposition goalkeepers were in Alisson mode whenever they faced LFC. Made crazy saves when they wouldnt make while facing other sides. Our penalties were also saved not missed. It was a roller coaster season.
Also Manchetser United's relegation to Europa League from Champions League due to loss against Basel. Guess who scored against them? Freaking Shaqiri!!

liverpool family will always bow to King Kenny. we have massive respect for the man. A born winner!
Even in those horrendous seasons, we still did well against City, Chelsea and Everton. Our struggles have always been against the bottom teams, who put 10 behind the ball. Even now under Klopp we occasionally struggle.
Needed molby, whealen, Beardsley, type midfielders but recruitment and standards declined

If blinding the final ranking, I love the squad of this season so much. Plus, Sir Kenny Dalglish is also my beloved manager. All the goals are freaking enjoyable to me.

Charlie Adam and Stewart Downing were horrendous signings
Also Jordan Henderson in this season. King Kenny didn't know how to use him.
Charlie Adam was pretty alright not a disaster signing. He had some good moments that season.
Stewart Downing was a victim of poor finishing that season.He laid many passes and quality crosses that couldn't be put away. We hit the post 50 times. It was the most frustrating season in terms of finishing. Andy Carroll wasn't ruthless enough. Suarez was bit burdened. Even penalties were saved by opposition goalkeepers. But football they played was actually pretty entertaining. But suspect defending and extremely poor finishing contributed to their 8th spot finish.
Adam and Downing were both bang average which in and of itself isn't a huge crime but they, along with Spearing, kept better players out of the team.
Meireles left because Kenny told him that he'd be Adam's stand-in and Henderson was usually pushed out wide to accommodate him whilst Downing kept his regular spot in favour of Bellamy, Maxi and Kuyt who were all better than he.
They were victims of poor management

People used to critise Henderson a lot but unlike players like Joe Allen, Jay Spearing and Charlie Adam, I knew Henderson was going to grow to become the class player that he is today.

This was the season where I thought that we had now lost it as a top 4 side and completely give up on us ever winning the title. Watching this just shows how amazing klopp is
what? we won a cup that year and hit the woodwork a zillion times! this team deserved more and idk why, only liverpool had all the bad luck but not anymore. we are a red machine made by a german engineer known as Klopp and not even bad luck like coronavirus can stop it.

@@TheCollett93 It is amazing how these fans have short term memories. Back then in early 2010's, Liverpool lost many quality players and big name stars refused to join. Andy Carroll was a panic buy. Downing and Charlie Adam were obviously flops. Jordan Henderson proved his worth multiple times as he kept playing under different managers, but narrow minded plonkers kept believing the myth that he only passes sideways, apparently mistaking him with Joe Allen the statpadder.

I know we finished 8th, but King Kenny didnt deserve the sack, we still played heeps good, we just missed heeps of chances (especially FA Cup final from carrolls header), hit the post and cross bar in so many games, and we missed countless numbers of penalty kicks, funny enough we won the league cup on penalties (only just) , but at least King Kenny got us a trophy, It would of been better to keep him rather than bring in Brendan Rodgers who ended up overall becoming a farce. But end of the day, cant complain where its all ended up leading us till now, the best team in the world!

When Henderson scored his first goal for Liverpool, little did we all know that he would become THE captain to lead us to a Champions League victory and (hopefully) the end of a 30 year wait for the League title. Amazing! ⚽❤️

@@derekstew9696 Well you've got to remember that he was super young when we bought him. He was one for the future when Dalglish signed him. Also he was a crucial CM player in 2014/15. Even after that, he was really good in DM even though it wasn't his preferred position and he had to adapt. So I'd say he's done really well throughout besides the injury setbacks at the time.
It just reminds me why we made the finals of both domestic cups that season, and again last season. It's always the depth in the squad. There's no way to have a full squad of world class players, at least for Liverpool. But this team had Bellamy, Kuyt, Carroll, Suarez, Sterling and Adam, Hendo, Gerrard, Lucas, Meireles, Maxi, Downing, Shelvey, even Spearing, and Carra, Agger, Skrtel, Johnson, Enrique, Aurelio, Kelly, Coates, and of course Reina was still there.
Last year we had half a season where we still have Taki, Origi, Diaz with Mane, and with a few more world class players in the team, we managed to go far. It's just we don't usually have that type of squad. Competing on 4 fronts or in domestic cups has become a consequence of squad depth, and the likes of City, United and Chelsea just always have the depth by virtue of the money.
