The 1299 S is an Icon. Just purchased a new 2017, wanted the last of L twin. also added the 6 year unlimited guarantee. The power of this bike does not scare me ,, the electronics ,on the other hand are scary. . Repairs would break me lol. The only exhaust that does not void the guarantee is the Akrapovic titanium full race system which includes low restriction air filter and ECM reprogram. Had this system installed prior to delivery. Sounds awesome . Also opted for the comfort seat that also cuts down the heat on your butt. Ride safe ..
