    It's insane how much happens on one of these episodes.
    I initially couldn't jive with this podcast because like many of Tim's fans I was only ready to ingest the crystallized, genre-rippling shows he made before. Then I realized you gotta get into the speed of a broadcast type thing. Then you realize this is a send up of everything that became before it, airwave-wise. It's so great.

      Wow, this is exactly how I felt. I put the show off for years and years because I was like, what the fuck is this garbage? Now I'm literally addicted. Probably happened 2 years ago? It was the promos that eventually brought me into the fold, so, not sure if that was gaynor or interns or whatever but yeah. Exact same experience. Now I've been a patreon for 2 years. I'm a very frugal guy but its probably the only subscription service I can't live without that also happens to be somewhat affordable mind you.

      The Stock market changes constantly and every successful trader wants to improve, update, enhance and make better. Even Experts with many years of experience and large profits in their portfolio still work hard to analyze and improve on how they trade. This applies more importantly to new traders and those with minimal experience. Nicholas Myron offers great assistance here. An analysis and improvement strategy gives you a structured way of maximizing your profit while also capitalizing on the good part of your trading and money management strategies. This helps you become more productive and profitable on a long run and creates a paradigm shift to the ever-changing market conditions. I've followed and been invested in btc for years, and producer Matt instantly equating it to Qanon was cringe inducingly ignorant. It's not even in the same universe. Educate yourself first. I'm admittedly in a bit of a crypto bubble, so I assumed people had more of a basic knowledge of what bitcoin actually is. Listening to this reminded me that almost everyone is still completely clueless.
      The guy wasn't ranting, he was very well informed about a topic he's passionate about which makes a ton of sense if you understand it. It's not conspiracy theories, Alex Jones, Qanon stuff. Silicon valley geniuses are leaving to work in crypto. It's the next evolution of money and the internet. Before anyone reads this and hears ranting, spend an hour reading about what problems bitcoin and crypto solves, and if you're wise you'll stash some away.

    That bitcoin guy knew nothing about economics. Austrian economics is so old fashioned and not taken seriously

    • @Corbimos
      @Corbimos 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The problem is exactly that people don't take it seriously.
      Keynesian Economics is not working. Look at the wealth inequality. People should be able to hold money, and not have it devalued. The average person should not have to be, and/or, hire a financial "expert" to play markets in order to preserve their wealth. They should be able to hold sound money.
      All I ask is that people look into it, and take topics that might make them uncomfortable seriously.

And pure keynsian has been updated and debated widely. You're having arguments about systems that have been dissected for a long time by much more intelligent people.
