This video isn't a song. It's a live mix of several songs recorded during their 2002 tour. The 2 main songs here are Blaze - Lovelee Day and an unreleased Together's track which sample the chorus of Steve Winewood - Valerie. The beat @0:00 is from Les Rythmes Digitales' remix of Cassius - My Feelings For You. The track itself is currently lost (it isn't the white label one though). In a interview, Falcon said that it was just some cool loop they made. Imho I think they just didn't have the right of sampling Valerie. And yes the sample is kinda lazy but it does sound cool for sure.
the emotions i get from this song are priceless i remember finding this on youtube when i was younger like 7 years ago and it popped into my head again yesterday and now i cant stop listening again :)
Only thing Prydz did different was the vocals. So by law, Prydz version is a different version and Thomas Bangalter & DJ Falcon Call On Me was never released. Call on me was only used live during their Together & Cassius tour in late 2002 and early 2003. And to prove you wrong even more Steve Winwood, the original author of Call On Me worked with Prydz to make Thomas Bangalter & DJ Falcon Call On Me. Not stolen. Next time get your facts right buddy
This isn't the same as the other version listed on youtube with 400,000 views. People are saying that was the Retraded Funk version (obviously based on the Bangalter Falcon version) that Eric Prydz was basing his version off. What a nightmare it is trying to get this straight
“Lovely Dae” is from 1997. Yes, it’s a bit of a fraud. Unless by “mix tape,” you just mean records mixed together. It is a good mash/up more than anything.
As a man thinks so shall he be. Mankind prospers or fails according to their own personal faith or the lack thereof. Listen to this song on loop and contemplate or remember the words from the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Matthew.... “Peter got down out of the boat , walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind [and waves], he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!”” Have faith or a burning desire regarding your dreams, goals and aspirations. Use your imagination and inner power to manifest prosperity. Eliminate all negativity and limiting beliefs from your life. Grow and do good!

It’s a bootleg of a live performance in which they used samples, it’s not even an official release. They didn’t even name it Call On Me. And if it was such a rip off I don’t think Winwood would’ve re-recorded the vocals for Prydz’ version.
@@BB-se9bl - Winwood's song isn't called "Call On Me" - it's "Valerie." But I already said that they changed the title. Prydz's version is more of a remake while this one is more of a remix. Personally, I consider both to be ripoffs, but that's just my opinion -- Prydz's mostly because he changed the title, pretending that it was an original, and this one because the "sample" is so blatant and dominant. Some artists, apparently like Winwood, don't mind that.
This is “Blaze - Lovelee Dae”
Also “Eric Prydz - Call on me”
IDC if you guys say Eric copied anyone. Without him this track would’ve been buried.
Good Job Bangalter & Falcon, people are still listening to this song 13 years later.
Master101 i still
Even though most are listening to the Prydz version, yeah I agree they did a good job
*15 years (summer 2002)
2022 still
2023 !!!
I listen to this on loop...love this song
Finally I found the version I have been searching for 6 years 😂

NOT a remix... Thomas Bangaltar and Falcon did this earlier. Prydz copied and got original singer to re-record sample.

Así es amigo, pero no podemos hablar que Eric Prydz copió la canción ya que Together nunca saco la canción
@@ronaldojared together literalmente le cedió la canción ya que pensaban que no iba a tener éxito alguno

title's a total fraud
hmmm... why?
it's the other way around : en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Call_on_Me_(Eric_Prydz_song)#background
Listen to the interview with DJ Falcon and maybe you'll believe it. It's called "DJ Falcon on Eric Prydz - CALL ON ME"
@cajenner10 If you look up the 2002 Cassius Together Tour they play their version of this song 2 years before Eric's version came out.

Not the original. Pryde's remix and this one were both ripped off from Steve Winwood's "Valerie."
Sampled, not ripped off.
