I an 25 years old and I was a lukewarm Christian but i have decided to repent and turn my life completely to Jesus, as such I made a plan to study the entire Bible one chapter at a time. I don't know how long it will take but i want to know more of Jesus through his word. I am using Enduring word as a guide when I don't understand certain scriptures. Thank you for your great teachings Pastor Guzik. May God continue to bless you abundantly and may you continue to use your gift of teaching others the word of God. Greetings from Guyana 🇬🇾

I listened to Pastor Paul LEBOUTILLIER at Calvary Chapel in the beginning, pastor Paul cited Pastor David Guzik's teachings many times in his talk. That is how I came to know pastor Guzik. One day I listened to Pastor Guzik's teaching, it blows my mind. Now I listen to both Pastor Paul and Pastor Guzik, also Pastor Chunk Smith. They are such a huge blessings in my life.

John didn't start the Gospel from Jesus's birth, he started it from the very nature of Jesus pre-incarnation, He was the Word, the Logos, the very Person who made creations possible. What a brilliant book St. John wrote.

Pray to God in Jesus name Amen!. This pastor has so much good material out , even this video, and his messages are so much bigger than the concept of the Trinity.

The Word of Yahweh: Understanding John 1:1-18 Through Solid Supporting Scriptures in the Old and the New Testaments.
The Word of Yahweh: Understanding Creation Through John 1
The Scriptures provide profound insight into the creation of the world and the role of Yahweh, the only true God. Isaiah 44:24 states, “This is what Yahweh says-your Redeemer and Creator: ‘I am Yahweh, who made all things. I alone stretched out the heavens. Who was with me when I made the earth?’” This verse emphasizes that Yahweh alone is the Creator, having made all things by Himself, highlighting His sovereignty and uniqueness in the act of creation.
The question arises: If Yahweh created the world, then what role does the Word, often associated with Christ, play in creation? Psalm 33:4, 6, 8-9 tells us, “For Yahweh’s word is right. All his work is done in faithfulness. By Yahweh’s word, the heavens were made: all their army by the breath of his mouth. Let all the earth fear Yahweh. Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him. For he spoke, and it was done. He commanded, and it stood firm.” This passage clearly demonstrates that it is through Yahweh’s Word that creation occurs, indicating the Word’s divine authority and active role in the process.
Furthermore, Isaiah 55:11 declares, “It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.” This verse reinforces that the Word originates from Yahweh’s mouth, further establishing its divine authority and purpose. It emphasizes that Yahweh’s Word is not merely a statement but an active force that achieves His will.
Now, does this mean that Jesus is the Word in the same sense? In Genesis 1:3, we see, “Then God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light.” This creative command from Yahweh initiated the creation of light, showcasing His power and authority. The New Testament expands on this by identifying Jesus as the Word. In John 1:1, it states, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” Here, we see the intimate relationship between God and the Word, yet it does not imply that Jesus is Yahweh Himself. Instead, it affirms Jesus as the ultimate revelation of God’s Word and promises.
In John 17:3, Jesus clarifies His relationship with the Father: “And this is the way to have eternal life-to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth.” This declaration highlights that Jesus identifies the Father as the only true God, further delineating the distinction between Yahweh and Jesus Christ. Jesus acknowledges the Father’s supreme authority and does not equate Himself with Yahweh.
Considering these verses together, we can clearly see the distinction between Yahweh and Jesus Christ. While Jesus is indeed central to understanding God’s revelation and serves as the Messiah sent by Yahweh, He is not equated with Yahweh Himself. This understanding is vital for a correct interpretation of Scripture.
Additionally, the Gospel of John provides insight into the role of Jesus as the Word made flesh. John 1:14 states, “And the Word became flesh and lived among us. We have seen his glory, the glory as of a father’s one and only son, full of grace and truth.” This verse emphasizes that Jesus embodies the fullness of God’s revelation, showcasing God’s character and will to humanity while still being distinct from the Father.
To summarize, the creation narrative attributes the power and authority of creation to Yahweh alone. Jesus Christ is the Messiah who reveals the Father to humanity, fulfilling the prophecies and promises of Yahweh but remains distinct from Him. Understanding this relationship is crucial for accurately interpreting Scripture and grasping the nature of God as presented in the Bible.
In conclusion, while Jesus Christ plays a vital role in God’s plan for salvation and revelation, He does so as the Son of God and the promised Messiah, not as Yahweh or a separate deity. This understanding aligns with the teachings of both the Old and New Testaments, emphasizing the unity and singularity of Yahweh as the only true God. As believers, it is essential to recognize and honor this distinction to maintain the integrity of our faith in Yahweh, the only true God our Heavenly Father, and His Son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

How about the verses that tells that God is only one and it is the Father
And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
    John 17:3
But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.
    1 Corinthians 8:6
Maybe we are wrong in interpreting John 1:1 or there is an error in the translation of that verse? Perhaps the purpose of the gospel of John is to persuade the reader that Jesus is the Christ the Son of God, not God himself or God also.

      Here's a passage to consider...John 10:30-33...
30 I and My Father are one.”
31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone Him. 32 Jesus answered them, “Many good works I have shown you from My Father. For which of those works do you stone Me?”
33 The Jews answered Him, saying, “For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy, and because You, being a Man, make Yourself God.”
The Jews that were there understood exactly what Jesus was saying...that He was making Himself out to be God. Jesus did not try to correct them, for they understood exactly what He was saying.
Thanks for sharing, hope this helps. Blessings.

    • @rodveljumantoc6838
      @rodveljumantoc6838 2 ปีที่แล้ว

@@DavidGuzikEnduringWord I think the Jews misinterpreted Jesus. Because we can read at the proceeding verses,
Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
      If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;
Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?
      John 10:34-36
The Jews exaggerated Jesus claims of being the Son of the only true God (John 17:3, 3:16).
      Take a look on it,
Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.
      John 5:18
At John chap. 10 Jesus claimed to be the Son of God the Jews interprets it as claiming to be a God Himself. But in John chap. 5 Jesus claimed God to be His Father and the Jews interprets it as claiming to be equal with God. You see the difference?
And did Jesus really broke the Sabbath? Even before He was crucified? I don't think so, if then He must be accounted as sinner!
      Accusation is not always true!

In John 1:3 We learn that all things were made through HIM.
In John 1:18 we read “No one has ever seen God; the only Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, he has made (HIM) known.
Notice how Jesus has made HIM known, who is HIM ?
    The word = HIM
And if you can bear to hear it
HIM is the Holy Spirit The WORD of God.

Here are some verses for you to consider.
1 John 1:6-13 tells us...the following passage speaks of Jesus...
6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7 This man came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all through him might believe. 8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. 9 That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world.10 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. 11 He came to His [c]own, and His own did not receive Him. 12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: 13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
I hope that this helps. Blessings!

Did you know that in John 1:1-3, there are different Greek words for both Gods mentioned?
The Word, Jesus, (Λόγος or Logos), was with God (Θεόν, or Theon).
The Word was God (Θεὸς, or Theos).
He, Jesus, was in the beginning with God (Θεόν, Theon).
Even though these are different cases of the same word, they are nevertheless differentiated.
Satan was also called θεὸς, or Theos at 2 Corinthians 4:4.
    Is Satan also God?
Don’t know Greek? Neither do I.
Let’s break this down a little further shall
    we?
In the beginning was the word (Jesus, Son of God), and the word (Jesus, Son of God) was with God (Almighty God, God the Father), and the word (Jesus, Son of God) was God (Almighty God, God the Father)?
No matter how you put it, it doesn’t make sense!!
What does make sense is that Jesus, being in the beginning with God (Genesis 1:26, John 1:1), in fact being God’s very first creation (Colossians 1:15, Proverbs 8:22, Revelation 3:14), actually calls God his God and worships God the Father. (Revelation 3:12, John 20:17)

Thank you for your comment! I think we're mostly in agreement, there may just be a misunderstanding about terms or titles. Here are a few key Bible verses that emphasize the important, clear distinction between the Son and the Father:
[#1] John 1:1-2: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God.” This highlights the relationship between the Father and the Son (the Word).
[#2] John 14:28: Jesus says, “The Father is greater than I.” This statement clearly indicates a *distinction in their roles and nature.*
[#3] Matthew 26:39: In the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus prays, “My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will.” This shows Jesus *addressing the Father as a separate person.*
[#4] John 10:30: Jesus says, “I and the Father are one,” which speaks to their unity but does not imply they are the same person. Meaning, Jesus *does not say "I am the Father," He instead distinguishes Himself at distinct* from the Father, while being united and in union with Him (in the Trinity).
[#5] John 17:20-21: In His prayer, Jesus expresses a desire for believers to be one, just as He and the Father are one, indicating a relationship of unity among distinct persons.
These verses contribute to the understanding of the distinct persons of the Father and the Son - the Father is not the Son, the Son is not the Father, neither the Son nor Father are the Holy Spirit, but all 3 are coequally God, united in the Trinity.

'God the Son'? excuse me but that is NOT a bible expression!. 'God the Father' YES! 30 times! ' God the Son' 0 times!, 'God the Holy Spirit' 0 times!. How can the 'Word' be God himself if a. He was "with God" & since the word became VISIBLE how can he be 'God' if verse 18 states "No one has seen GOD at any time"? Also John recorded the 'word' saying "I am ascending to MY GOD"? John 20:17. Thus many scholars realise John used 'God' to describe the 'divine nature' of the son "made in God's image" rather than Almighty God Himself, whom Jesus worshiped and prayed to while on earth & will yet be "subject to God" ( 1 Cor 15:28)

Not sure if it's a mild form of spiritual warfare, or just part of what happens when a completely free resource is open to very public consumption, critique, and ridicule.

I have listened to your history videos and have learned a lot. No disrespect however, Your doctrines are the same as all religions doctrines and teachings. The trinity is not in the Bible and we are warned about adding to the scriptures or taking away.
1)GOD IS SPIRIT Spirits can not die even JESUS tell us that about angels.
2)where in the Bible does it tell us the Holy Spirit is JESUS father? After all JESUS was conceived by the Holy Spirit. No? The scriptures clearly tell us the Holy Spirit is the power of GOD not a third second first whatever person.
    3) Jesus always said “I CAME FROM ABOVE” “I CAME FROM THE FATHER” “MY FATHER IS GREATER THAN I” there are tons of scriptures that totally destroy the false trinity doctrine.

      @DavidGuzikEnduringWord  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Pepe, thanks for writing.
Let me respond to your comments.
All religious doctrines are not the same.
A quick comparison of Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, Mormonism, and Christianity will reveal that those religious belief systems are very different.
The teaching of the Trinity is brought to us in the Bible.
In Exodus 3:13-15, we see God naming himself as "I Am".
13 Then Moses said to God, “Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they say to me, ‘What is His name?’ what shall I say to them?” 14 And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’ ” 15 Moreover God said to Moses, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel: ‘The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name forever, and this is My memorial to all generations.’
In John 8:54-59, Jesus sued that same name, "I Am", to describe himself.
The Jews who heard him say that knew that he was ascribing deity to Himself, and they tried to kill him
Jesus did not try to correct them (in case they misunderstood him).
      John 8:54-59
54 Jesus answered, “If I honor Myself, My honor is nothing. It is My Father who honors Me, of whom you say that He is [o]your God. 55 Yet you have not known Him, but I know Him. And if I say, ‘I do not know Him,’ I shall be a liar like you; but I do know Him and keep His word. 56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad.” 57 Then the Jews said to Him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?” 58 Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.” 59 Then they took up stones to throw at Him; but Jesus hid Himself and went out of the temple, going[p] through the midst of them, and so passed by.
Jesus ascribed deity to Himself, apart from the Father.
So far, we God the Father, and God the Son.
In Acts 5:1-4, we see Peter equating lying to the Holy Spirit as "lying to God".
5 But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession. 2 And he kept back part of the proceeds, his wife also being aware of it, and brought a certain part and laid it at the apostles’ feet. 3 But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself? 4 While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.”
There we see the Bible describing the Holy Spirit as God.
Thus we see the Biblical doctrine of the Trinity.
You are correct that God is Spirit, but a spirit can put on flesh.
We see demons (spirits) inhabiting people and even swine.
The body of Jesus died, but was raised to life, a glorified body.
Regarding Jesus as being subservient to the Father, that is correct, but it doesn't take away the divinity of Jesus.
      1 Corinthians 11:3 tells us...
3 But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.
Men and women are of equal value and worth before God, and yet there is a hierarchy of responsibility.
The same is true of God the Father and God the Son.
Jesus' submission to the Father doesn't take away his deity.
      I hope that this helps.

      Good morning, David
nothing you sent me here proves what i consider the false trinity doctrine. See I believe JESUS WORDS and HE tells me this……
John 5:37 The Father himself, who sent me, has testified about me. You have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his form.
So who did the patriarchs like Moses Abraham etc...in the old testament seen and heard? JESUS or angels! Is always been JESUS from the book of Genesis to revelation is ALL JESUS. Even Paul tell us it was JESUS CHRIST the GOD of the old testament……
I Corinthians 10:1 I do not want you to be unaware, brothers, that our forefathers were all under the cloud, and that they all passed through the sea. 2They were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea. 3They all ate the same spiritual food 4and drank the same spiritual drink; for they drank from the spiritual rock that accompanied them, and THAT ROCK WAS CHRIST
next we are also told that ONLY JESUS has ascended and descended from heaven. right/
John 3:13 No one has ascended into heaven, but he who descended out of heaven, the Son of Man, who is in heaven.
So who do you think is spoken about here in the old testament if not JESUS…..
Proverbs 30:4 Who has ascended up into heaven, and descended? Who has gathered the wind in his fists? Who has bound the waters in his garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and WHAT IS HIS SON NAME, if you know?
Lastly does it not make you pause when you DO NOT hear any of the apostles EVER giving reverence to the holy spirit but only to GOD THE FATHER and HIS SON JESUS CHRIST? why is it? Is because the Apostles, like myself KNEW what the holy spirit is. We are told what the holy spirit is in our bibles. Here is one very telling one……
Luke 1:35 The angel replied to her:” The ---holy spirit------ will come upon you, and THE POWER of the Most High will overshadow you. Therefore, the holy One to be born will be called the Son of God.
Do you see it David? The holy spirit ----IS----THE POWER OF GOD not another ENTITY or person as trinitarians call it. If the holy spirit was a person then JESUS would be the son of the holy spirit because if we go with the trinitarian logic it was the holy spirit ‘PERSON’ that was present during Mary conception. but we are told that JESUS ----IS---THE SON OF GOD
Luke 1:35 …..Therefore, the holy One to be born will be called THE SON OF GOD.

There’s no God the Son language mentioned in the scripture. The Antichrist has changed the word of God. Jesus being God don’t harmonize with others books of the Bible. Jesus being God contradicts the the whole Holy Bible. The word was with God. You can’t be with someone and be that person. John makes it clear at John 20:31 Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God. This harmonize with Matt 16:13-17 Peter said Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God. This is revealed by Jesus father Jehovah. The trinity is a Antichrist teaching. 1 John 4:1-3 Jesus is the Christ not his father Jehovah. The Antichrist doesn’t believe Jesus is the Christ.Heb 1:9 God anointed Jesus. Luke 1:26-35 and Ga 4:4 Give you the truth not a contradiction about Jesus.

We read the following in John 19:6, 7
6 Therefore, when the chief priests and officers saw Him, they cried out, saying, “Crucify Him, crucify Him!” Pilate said to them, “You take Him and crucify Him, for I find no fault in Him.” 7 The Jews answered him, “We have a law, and according to [a]our law He ought to die, because He made Himself the Son of God.”
The religious leaders clearly understood that Jesus was making himself out to be God. Jesus did not correct them, or tell them that they were making a mistake, of that they misunderstood him.
So if Jesus was making himself out to be God, should we believe Him or not?
Hebrews 1:7, 8 tells us...7 And of the angels He says: “Who makes His angels spirits
And His ministers a flame of fire.” 8 But to the Son He says: “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.
There we see God the Father speaks to the Son as God.
I hope that this helps. Blessings!
