Hi I am having a hard time with my Edon Boat. I think it is due to the oarlocks not being at 4 degrees. If the oar locks are greater than 4 degrees will the oars be angled into the water so when I am on the release part the oars dig into the water and create havok.

    Hi again,
Where do I get the sleeves to change the oarlock angle?

I have only rowed with classic wooden boats with metal oarlocks. I have never tried racing shell. How are these oarlock/oars working. I mean does the oar make the turn/swivel "semi-automatically" when pulling the oar. Or do you have to make conscious twist with your wrists?

You have to twist with your wrists, but the oar does have flat sides so that it sorta “clicks” in to the feathered and unfeathered position.

Where can you get the level he used for the oarlock? I've been trying to find one everywhere.
