      the secret when you're playing an rng game is to brag a lot when you win and move on quickly when you lose. like when you go to a casino always tell everyone how much you won, but never mention how much you spent

    • @Silverfuse
      @Silverfuse  ปีที่แล้ว

      You'll get there! It took me a while as well. My friend coached me quite a bit and that was the best way for me to get a hang of it. Hoping future videos will help you out some!

    • @Silverfuse
      @Silverfuse  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm not sure what you are getting at. There is certainly variance and RNG in TFT, but a Masters player will still crush a Plat lobby. A plat will still crush a Silver lobby, etc. A Challenger will crush a Masters lobby. There is still plenty of skill in the game. The best players are the best players because they are better - not because they are lucky.
      It's the same with card games too such as WhatAmI qualifying for worlds twice in a row is because he's a good player. Yea, there is some luck involved, but a not as strong player wouldn't be able to capitalize off it as well or create the possibility for a high roll the same way a strong player can

      @@Silverfuse casinos are really good at creating the illusion of skill

      Oh, you're just not very good and blame RNG for your losses. Got it.
      Also, depends on what you're talking about. Poker is a skillful game.
      Pulling a slot machine isn't

      Thank you! I'm doing better! I really like a lot of Riot Games. I've been playing Overwatch 2 again as well which has been fun! I put Slime Rancher 2 on the second channel and vod channel if you are interested in that at all - it's unedited footage from stream if you are interested.
      I played some Hearthstone Battlegrounds in the past as well and considered posting a video of me explaining it on the second channel but never published it. Wasn't sure how it would be received so it's just sitting there on the second channel unlisted haha

    Banger video! This really helped me understand rolling for team comps, thank you! The only thing I still really need help with is determining which items go on which champions, I never played league so I have no frame of reference 😭 my smite experience has helped a bit but even that doesn’t really translate

      It definitely fits that definition! It can be a really chill game to just relax to or a serious game to learn and grind! I love how I can play it casually with friends or go all out and try hard on it!

    So just started tft on set 7.5 I watched a shit ton of TH-cam videos and managed to hit gold 2 which I’m happy for my first ever set. Although now that there is a new set it’s super strange to me because I’m not used to rotating sets like y’all veterans to the game 😅

    • @Silverfuse
      @Silverfuse  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I started in Set 3.5 but I played on and off until Set 6 where I played a ton!
      Didn't play much Set 6.5. Played quite a bit of Set 7 to get GM. Then Set 7.5 I didn't play much but got Masters.
      I really like the rotating sets as it keeps the game fresh and introduced fun units and traits! Hope you enjoy Set 8!

  • @JoonaJJ
    @JoonaJJ ปีที่แล้ว +1

    the thing is that i go for the same traits and right items for them but end up dying first so what is the problem im doing wrong.
    and you should do an actual beginners guide to tft because this is NOT for beginners.

    • @Silverfuse
      @Silverfuse  ปีที่แล้ว

      I might do a further basic breakdown! I've had a couple requests!
      This one is pretty fast paced.
      It is really hard for me to say what you're doing wrong. It could be Augment choices and playing around them, it could be win streaking vs loss streaking, it could be losing too much health early, it could be not capping out the board higher, it could be not leveling or rolling at the right times.
      TFT is an incredibly complex game so it's hard for me to say what's happening without seeing the game.
      For me, when I was hard stuck Plat I watched high level player streams and think about what I would have done, see what they do, and then compare why they decided to make the decision they did. I got to GM last set with that. But I played a lot of games and some of it definitely takes time!

      It's unfortunate but the game is pretty intimidating to start.
      It's a game that you kind of have to get your hands on for some games and it starts making sense.
      The matchmaking does a good job of putting you with other new players and there were several features added to this set to make things easy for new players that aren't in this video!
      Such as right clicking a champion now gives you item recommendations for the champ!
