this story is like drinking a handle of hard alcohol, eating 5 shrooms, dropping 4 tabs of acid, snorting 3 lines of 100% pure, while smoking meth when you have a fever.
This is one of the best and well rounded apocalypse stories so far and I have read hundreds so far. I like the fact he can copy the powers of people and animals only loyal to him.

The thing with doing what you're saying is that people are gonna report to the police and then you might get arrested before the apocalypse. Would be stupid to have your plan fucked because of that wouldnt it?
Because their still law, even in the few days left, if MC got caught in cctv then he can't prepare for the doomsday. Besides there's things that can be made on spot. Like the house renovation and takeout food that's need to be cooked. So you'll need money.
You won't survive the apocalypse like this man.
