I'm pretty sure that these people have a list of categories of people that they will always attack. It's not about who you are, it's about them and their unshakeable 'opinions.'
A topic like this, getting hate is 100% unavoidable; ANY position you take, will step on SOMEONE'S toes, and both sides of the issues are deeply emotionally invested (whether thats justified, or not). But most of the time (with some exceptions) the "hate" won't really be about the individual- It's about what the individual REPRESENTS to viewers (on this topic, that will probably be either "gender ideology", or "transphobia", depending what you say). Even if you take the most nuanced, balanced, empathetic stance possible, a topic like this, there'll always be a segment of viewers who just see you as "the enemy". Surprised to hear that most hate comes from the right, though; Even staunchly pro-trans leftist TH-camrs like Contrapoints and PhilosophyTube have both, independently said that the worst hate they get, comes from other trans activists (over weird infighting, or "cancelation" attempts). Which definitely lines up with what I've heard from other detransitioners, too. Not to deny that yhe right can be hateful, too. I've just rarely seen it directed at detransitioners- Most anti-detransitioner hate I've seen has been from TRA's and their "cis allies", or occasionally from radfem "terfs".
Great video! I hope it will help some TH-cam content creators which are struggling with difficult people on their channels. I also like this "shorter" content you propose (like in this video); it is easier for me to find time to watch them 🙂 Love from Switzerland ❤
I’ve never been good at shaking off negative comments or people being unkind to me. It’s part of my personality, I think, to hold onto the hurt & angry feelings and want to get even, in other words to keep the drama going, which is so non-productive. I’m 72 years old, and still figuring things out.
I think you're a really interesting person, Alexander. You do vibe as a truly good person to me, so you deserve good things in your life. Your opinions and experiences and the way you process yourself are merely what you have to do with what you have. There's nothing wrong with you as long as you're being honest, and I believe you are. We should all be like that these days.
Of this topic, Alexander would you consider or want to interview, or just private session with Isaac Uncooked? He is detrans, but thinking of starting Estrogen again, unless he gets a wife right away. Maybe having a conversation with you will help him get a more open minded decision on what he should do next. He is very intelligent young person so I think you'd have a good conversation. And I think you can be good influence on him. (He has been Live streaming almost daily)
Even haters are not 100% haters, the same people that choose to show only their hateful side, are also people that look up to one or other quality of yours. (psychological ownership) Reply: "I refuse to be poisoned by your bitterness." (Anne of Green Gables) Reply: "Do you make a habit of being so negative?"
