    Love the scenery. Reminds me a lot of Oregon, except not as many pine trees. Thanks for sharing.

      yeah its kinda weird about pine trees they are all over the place when you drive throughout NC and SC but up here they don't seem to have allot of them

    You made me so homesick! I worked on the reservation teaching swimming lessons to make money to pay for school. I went to college in Cullowhee back in '78 -'80. That was before they cut the top off of the mountain and ran the interstate thru there. In '80 I married my fella from the military and went to Ft. Bragg after that and then the world. HaHa. My father in law passed away in Sapphire a month ago. Bittersweet reunion with the area. Truly enjoyed your video! Thank You!

      I joined the Army out of Hickory never been up to this part but luckily I got stationed here when I was put on recruiting duty and decided I was going to retire up here. Kinda funny after my recruiting duty I also ended up going to Bragg from here. Sorry to hear about your father in law, its some real nice area up in Cashiers/Sapphire but too much snow for me to live up there.

      @@Viper1392000 I guess it's just a rumor. Wouldn't be surprised if they don't make it thru spring semester. Yeah, I liked Speedy's. Pizza was great and great atmosphere too. Of course, that was pre-covid.

    What a great video. It's always interesting to see a snap shot of other peoples home areas, especially when they live in other countries. It looks a beautiful place. I live in a village called Ludgershall in the county of Wiltshire in England. It is about 12 miles away from 'Stonehenge'. I did chuckle when you said about the traffic slowing down when people wanted to look at the trees, www.google.co.uk/maps/@51.1767143,-1.826471,3a,75y,40.02h,76.55t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sJStwHmGytNYyTREi4PZk2g!2e0!7i13312!8i6656?hl=en This is a google image of the road that passes 'Stonehenge', as you can see it is only a normal two-way road with no passing places and in the summer and at weekends it can take nearly an hour to travel 2 miles because people slow down to take pictures of it. It's even more infuriating when the tourist buses/coaches stop to allow the passengers to take photos/videos especially as this is a major road from London to Devon. I don't have the means (yet) to show a small video like yours, but if I do I will post it up in your discord channel. Once again, great video, thanks for sharing.

    • @Viper1392000
      @Viper1392000  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Stonehenge has always been a place I want to visit someday, that road must be brutal with the tourists, doesn't help all of them are driving on the wrong side of the road either ;) I sorta understand people slowing down for Stonehenge a little more than some colorful leaves, but still it really annoys me when people are oblivious to other people trying to get somewhere, stopping traffic for some pictures is rude imo.

      yeah your right looking online doesn't really help, will ask around, I live in Sylva but my niece and her mom lives in Bryson will ask them if they know of something. Only thing I found online was a yellow rose vacation rental/property management that does regular rentals as well from their website. yellowroserealty.com/long-term-rentals/

      From talking to eveyone I know that lives down in Bryson, they normally just use the newspaper to find places for rent here is the link to the classified section in the newspaper. There has been sorta a housing shortage in Bryson due to people leaving the bigger cities from covid. Besides the paper people use word of mouth and driving around to look at For Rent signs. Around here in the mountains its kinda a pain for out of towners to find a place without actually visiting and searching in person. www.thesmokymountaintimes.com/classified/real-estate-rent

      @@Glendaramos_ Hope you find a place, one thing about the mountains around here is that we don't have allot of traffic so travel time along 74 is rather fast 55-60 mph speed limit so it doesn't take much time at all to get anywhere like Sylva 20 min and Whittier around 10 min. South West of Bryson on 74 can be slow traffic due to the river and people rafting.

    1. I LOVE THIS VIDEO!
    2. It was my dream to come to America and become a citizen but it is impossible right now due to a lot of reasons!
    3. The only thing that is making me really anxious is distance. I'm really like a small town like 1million people when you don't need to take a bike to get food! Like when you just get out from your house and in 5 minutes by walk you GET EVERYTHING! I'm from Odessa ( 1 million people) as an old city with small buildings like 2-5 floors but if you go to the street you can get whatever you want from bread to pills or burgers or whatever and YOU don't need to have a car or any vehicle to move around! Just go for a walk and u get everything. This is my hometown (goo.gl/maps/udk6aKGpX5y9nbrc7) and this is where I basically was living and born before I moved to China.
    4. Post more videos like this :))

      Having a vehicle here either a car, motorcycle or bicycle helps out allot but even in the small little town I live in people do walk to get around and we do have a van that goes around for public transportation. Of course some people live miles from stores and really need a car, but most of the larger towns/cities have ways to get around without a vehicle but I like the safety of small towns less crime, people seem nicer here in the south as well. Just looked at some pics of Odessa looks like a nice city full of history right on the black sea
