Having owned several CP pieces I can safely say they're a great clothing company. Quirky nature, beautifully made(for the best part), and a fit like no other. My only criticism is some of the pieces are quite short in length. My piéce de résistance has to be my 2012 A/W tinto terra mille miglia goggle jacket. Awesome jacket albeit quite heavy. Not one for walking long distances in.
I agree. And the sleeves tend to be on the long side especially in jackets. It’s somehow a very Italian fit catering for long limbs and short torsos. Works well for me, though. Especially the trousers!

Super cool as a layering piece and something I haven't seen very much of at all - defintely going to grab a few more pieces in the future. Loving the new space btw!

I have looked at goggle jackets and beanies for a while in the past, from a more UK streetwear/roadman angle, but never came around to getting one. Back in the day when it was still all Massimo Osti, there was CP, Stone Island and Bonneville. Never did get the point of the goggle/watch lens though, other than an alternative to the SI badge. CP used to make some great shirts and knitwear, but I don’t have anything left from back then. I still do have some 30 year old SI pieces though.
Love a bit of CP. Got the Nycra full length black puffer jacket a few weeks ago and it’s my favourite jacket so far. SI has been ruined by the amount of fakes going about
Unfortunately due to absolutely despising football hooliganism I’ve just blanked CP company in the past but I’m really glad to see it have a more diverse audience. I’m looking at a few different jackets and will probably get a Kan D jacket soon
Like I read in one comment down here, CP is the mother of SI, I mean, Massimo invested a lot of years on researching and experimenting with the WW1 and WW2 antichemical gas-masks and Austrian military vests + dyeing techniques after this research he created Chester Perry, wich devoloped clothing until a few years later, when Chester Barry and Fred Perry took legal actions against CP for using they're both names, and then the name changed to CP Company. All the big refferences of Massimo Osti and his team work, advancements, new synthetic clothing dyeing techniques, are in the Archivio of CP Company. Stone Island was founded by him to realise a different kind of streetwear that was into another line and view of his work with CP and didn't gain a lot of popularity the first years. But then suddenly it turned into a worlwide known brand and fakes went out on the market people gone hyped...etc
So I think it's just a little bit of ignorance from the side of the people, if we look back CP Company has a lot more value if we speak about researching of new clothing devoloping techniques, and it was the main work of Massimo so... I love Stone Island but everyone can put a patch and use the style of nylon archivio multi-pocket jackets from cp and make it trendy while CP has a LOT of iconic and not known pieces
Had quite a few of both but prefer Stone Island normally, have a recent CP jumper and love it but find the fittings on sweater are more slightly awkward compared to SI
