Arunita and Sayli would make great background singers and I wish them my best. SMP is a whole different kind of artist. She does not belong behind the stage. She is the kind of artist that belongs on a stage like Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, etc. She has that kind of stage presence. I am not sure an Indian audience can understand and appreciate her talent given that generations have grown up with background singers like LataJi and AshaJi.
No matter how brilliant a pop rock vocalist may be, public still hesitate to support them and aren't ready to accept these genre singer as winner, I think instead of giving voting right to public who don't understand music but blindly support emotional or melody songs without realising the efforts of other genre singer, voting rights must be given only to those who are related to music field could really help these artist genuinely for recognition.❤
