Apparently its all about Hermes now. I personally don’t get the hype! For a bag that looks like something my nan would wear, and for ridiculously amounts of money. Definitely not for me
I love the Lisa wallet and purchased two of them - there are 4 colors in the US. For me personally, it is so functional and while I’m a huge Rosalie wallet user - own too many of them - I love this has a place for bills and individual card slots. Im guilty of loving different wallet styles and also purchased the LV Vertical compact wallet in both black and galet. Maybe that would be a good option for you as the leather is very durable.
I think that without falling into a constant habit of returning items, it is great that you take the time to explain your rationale for returning something so that your audience doesn't make the same mistakes ❤
I certainly don’t need another wallet but It looks really nice to me. Those interior colors are all so pretty! But, if you’re not going to use it and you don’t love it, definitely return it.

Ive finally realized myself (since you articulated it so well!) why I don't like the bi-fold even though its super functional - it realiy does look "masculine" and doesn't make my heart sing! I think the same thing. But I think if it was many 1 card slot less or a bit less wide would make it less masculine. I love a small compact wallet just enough for a few bills some change and maybe 4 card slots only I’ve seen them and they are so cute!

Thank you for showing this new wallet! It’s very helpful. I don’t think it looks masculine. The proportions of a man’s wallet are quite different. But a flap is pretty, no doubt about that! I have a Zoe wallet with baby blue flap and interior. It’s pretty small, smaller than the victorine but not as slim as the wallet you bought. The baby blue flap captured my heart! I too was looking for a smaller casual wallet and really love this bifold style so I checked this wallet out last weekend at LV along with the new Capucines vertical compact wallet - same size and similar design - and I decided on the Capucines vertical compact wallet. Even though the new Lisa wallet ticked all the boxes for me - I too didn’t get the excited feeling about it when I was checking it out. Not like the vertical company wallet (which is a lot like the Hermes compact Bearn wallet). I think I was trying to talk myself into the Lisa because it ticked all the boxes for me usage wise and the price point was so much better than the vertical compact wallet. But, in the end, I decided to go with what I loved ❤
YSL also do bifold wallets, so maybe if you do end up liking the configuration after you use the Bottega a bit, a YSL one with its durable leather might be a good option. Also the Lady Dior Lotus and Mini Lady Dior wallets are worth checking out!
I bought this wallet in the iris colour. I’m a sucker for anything purple. I have the victorine in black epi leather and the YSL Cassandre metalassé bifold in dark beige. I like having these options for coordinating my bags and outfits ♥️
As a mom with 5 month old baby, I barely use any bag or a pretty wallet anymore-my go-to bag is his diaper backpack 😮💨with my Chanel card holder. My baby brain hasn't been recovered yet and making things super simple seems to be the way to go. I would assume you will be in the similar situation soon.

Great informative video on how the Lisa fits into mini bags, so nice to see it in a practical way. Honestly, you should just keep using the Hermes Kelly wallet that you have now, since you love it so much. And baby won’t have much effects on wallet wear & tear. The most regrettable thing when my kiddos were born/little was that I never had any nice things. It’s always the lousy stuff, hence those pictures of the past and those moments were very “mom-style, mom-look”. 😂 Hermes items are made to last, don’t worry about the usage. Enjoy it ♥️♥️♥️
I went to the LV store with this wallet in mind but ended up getting the Clemence instead. One of the reasons being the interior color. I preferred the LV fuchsia which to me looked more sophisticated vs being a fun pop of color.
When full, bifold wallets look really messy too - not ‘neat’ as you see the contents from the sides and they bulge and are only held by the popper. Try the Rosalie coin purse it holds a lot and is tiny

I've been waiting for an LV compact wallet but this is still bigger than what I'd like. My problem with small bifolds is it's quite hard to put in bills especially if I'm in a hurry and can't line up all my bills. I much prefer the balenciaga/prada trifolds buuut they're a bit bulky with the leather lining and hardware. So I'm using a no-brand trifold that's fabric lined so not as bulky as the designer ones.

Yeah, I would've preferred if they had released it with the classic monogram accent colors (rose ballerine, fuchsia). Or if they would finally release a monogram/navy combo which would look sooooo good. Not crazy about any of the colors, though I do love the layout.
Try the Hermès compact zip wallet 😊 I used to carry long wallet like my Kelly and long zip wallet. Ever since being a mum, I go with either very big tote or small size bag…
I got it too & am also returning it. I don’t like that the zipper seems to short & it makes the canvas bend out. I’m also worried the edge coat will crack where the gusset for the change part is. I too was underwhelmed 😕
I don’t care for it either. The big dangle on the zipper pull looks like it will get in the way. Also the bright pink color seems a bit tacky. Good decision.

OMG, I just watched this video and I feel like we are soul sisters or sth bc that's exactly how I feel about my Kelly compact wallet! I have one in gold epsom and it's SO beautiful to look at, but the buckle is really annoying in small bags and it's inconvenient to shuffle through cards. Women are really women🤣when we are given a plain leather zipper pull, we complain is too plain & cheap but when we are given a nice substantial zipper pull, we complain is cumbersome and gets in the way🙈😅Have you tried with cards in it, is it bulky? I’m eyeing on this wallet too in the exact colour but I didn’t dare to try it with all the cards in store😬 When u have your baby, trust me you don’t need a fancy wallet, stick everything in a plain cloth pouch😅😅like I used to do.

The Hermes Bearn compact wallet is actually a very nice one, I think you’ll love it more. It’s a more feminine version of the Lisa 😍🥰♥️
