For me Van Gogh is the greatest painter of all time. He made his own style of brush work and his painting, even if you don't know the name you will now it's made by Van Gogh.
Rich colours bold strokes loads of atmosphere, absolutely beautiful. His paintings are so natural and he did them in a time when hardly anyone appreciated them. To me that makes him a true pioneer of expression. Love to Vincent 🤗
First time in my life I look at Vincent's paintings and I find he paints pain, suffering, unhappiness, in the faces and bodies of humans, yet all else are filled with beauty, nice colors and inviting. very deep in meanings!
What I like about Vincent is his appreciation of nature and of labor. He often focuses on the output of labor, celebrating craftsmanship and its confluence of beauty and utility.
Everything on the canvas is beautiful but the unique strokes he used makes the trees stand out more than any other painter I've ever seen I don't know why but I love the way he paints trees.
Suffering did not deter him. He spoke courageously of it. He carried it to the last moments. It renders all that he saw utterly compelling - irresistible. He painted his masterworks - all of them - in just under 3 years.. A sacred turmoil of beauty and of glimpsed eternity. He is without peer among artists.
It is so sad that people value your art more if you die first.. :( I'm only stop scrolling for a second to see the detail without notice the tittle, when I read the tittle I was like "Oh! Of course!" What a beauty ♡
