Soshuyakyoku was composed for the movie 'Sina no Yoru' (Night of China) and Li Kouran sang in this movie. She was born in Taiwan but her nationality is Japanese. She came back to Japan after World War Two. Her true name is Toshiko Yamaguchi. The record of Soshuyakyoku was released (August 1940) after the roadshow of the movie (June1940). In this record, Hamako Watanabe and Noboru Kirishima sang. Toshiko Yamaguchi released Soshuyakyoku as B-side in 1953.
