You did such an Amazing job Eric!! That is Hard, strenuous work! I hope your son sees how hard his daddy is working and what an Incredible Soul that you are and I hope he gets your work ethic!! WELL DONE SIR ❤
The no smoking sign on the door likely means she used oxygen -- she would need a generator to operate her oxygen concentrator and provide safe heat in a power failure.
Well the Council should find out who the new owners are (someone must be paying council rates) and tell them to have it attended to. Council gives the owners time or will do the work themselves which would cost the more. If the owners are disabled or aged and have difficulties the council may offer services, after assessment, to help them.
Yes unless it’s been inherited and in which case the person/s who inherited should be dealing with the up keep. Or council deal with it and bill those who have inherited.
Certainly, that is one thing I do in my surrounding neighborhoods. I report abandoned vehicles on private & public property, homeless encampments, dead animals on the road, neglected yards, pot holes, roads that need to be repaved etc. I live in central Texas, we pay high taxes, I want to see some results when it comes to making our community better. If we don't report it, who will, we are the eyes of the community & it's our responsibility to report something when an area needs attention.
Great job! To prime the pump, just pour water down the top of the pump. It will flow down the hole the pump rod goes through. It might take a bit to get it going, but should work. A Genrac generator for that house! And it’s still there!
It’s odd that the council haven’t put a notice on this ppty to clean up (a violation I think it’s called). Agree someone must be paying the land rates, also strange to have trailer in drive, mmmm, possibly squatters! Thank you Eric for addressing this overgrown mess, the neighbours would be ecstatic. From Australia 🇦🇺
The neighbors might want to keep checking and turn it in to make sure the cops search down for who owns it and have them come and make sure no one is in the house
Great job gentlemen! The squatters will be furious over the cleanup because access is easier under cover of tall grass and weeds. They will likely vacate the premises until the overgrowth gets nice and high again.
Okay, so I watch Outdoors with Eric on the weekends. My dog who is a Large puppy named Dozer will sit on the bed behind my comuter and watch with me, He does not move until its over! Crazy but amusing! Doesn't watch anything else......
Great job Erik 👍🏆 Yes I agree the City should be taking care of this property. I hope someone legit can move in soon and love and care for it just like the last owner did ❤
I live in Altamonte Springs. The City Hall has two or more abandoned buildings behind what they occupy that haven't had landscaping done that I've seen in the 2 years I've lived here. Cities in Florida lost money during the pandemic and then Hurricane Ian took what little they have now, last year. Thank you for the neighborhood cleanup.
That is just wrong when people think they are entitled to someone else’s property. Most times they move in and totally destroy the inside and outside of the home. You did a very nice job cleaning up the property and possibly the squatters will move on.
I remember you doing this house!! Love it after y’all mow it and get it cleaned up!! As for the trailer I would talk to the neighbors see what they say. Then call the city find out what you can. Great job!! God bless!!
To prime a pump put water into the top and wait a bit maybe five minutes or so to wet the leathers then one should be able to get water. Of course if the well is nit dry
Looks nice! Check for a plate on the trailer, then check with the police. The well. My grandparents had us pour water down the top, which it goes up and down to prime the pump. Keep pumping it. It worked for us. It looks to be the same kind of pump.
Wow!? Makes me wonder where is family of deceased owner? Does she have family?! Whats really going on here?! Obviously if they were home, while you were doing your thing, didnt come out!? Ty for doing this anyway!! 🎉❤❤Hopefully get to the bottom of this?!?
I’m wondering the same unless they don’t live in the same state . Sad the neighbors don’t at least keep the front yard up , but I’ll never understand them not helping anyway , quick to complain but not help. 😢
Good work ! The old pump brought back memories. Here in Indianapolis, we used one until the late 60's in our used to be rural area. Always had good cold water.
Erick another great job. Get you about a gallon of water and as you are pumping the handlle pour the water down the top of the pump it will run down in the hole and as you pump and piur the water will start flowing out the spout.. love you guys keep up the great work
The pump is primed by pour water into it. On the top, the water goes into the works and causes pressure to build up until the ground water gets sucked up. You will feel it when that happens before the water comes out. Move the trailer to the street. Then call the cops to have them ticket it, then towed away. This lets potential squatters know the house is being watched. Hopefully they will stay away. Okay, you have an interesting situation here. See if the property taxes on the house have been paid. If not pay them. Look after the property, document it all. After 8-12 years, depending on your states adverse possession laws you may be able to put the house into your name free and clear after that time. Yes you would be the squatter. I say this cause the owner may not have had an heir and the home and property may be claimed by the state then. But if you prove that you have taken the responsibility for it by mowing the lawn and keep it clean as well as been paying the taxes on it, you can claim it and then after title is in your name, sell it and pay for your kids college with the money. If during any of this time an heir is found, you can have them pay you back the property tax and or put a lean on the home for your money back when they sell the home. At least then you still have some money to give the boys for college. Either way, your actions should alert the lawyers to contact you and then you can tell them what’s going on the with the property so they can tell the heirs to step up.
Did you happen to peek under the tarp to see what was in the Trailer??? And was the Deer Head still on the table behind the Garage like last time?? Keep up the AWESOME Work Erik!!!
It's possible that trailer belongs to the heirs of the property. I know that when my mom passed, we had trailers parked by her house for awhile, while we were moving things out as we had time and were cleaning her house.
What I find odd is that the grass was overgrown but the bushes look like they were trimmed recently!?!? Looks wonderful and I would have the authorities check on the trailer!!
Squatters do not deserve renter's rights to occupy properties. They are trespassing and stealing income from the owners. It's disgusting that owner's are required to add to the trouble and expense of evicting these low life people.
but sadly the way the law is made if a squatter manage to stay there long enough then by law the owners need to apply for an eviction order. they cant be removed by force. Squatter's rights (also known as adverse possession) allow a squatter to continue their use/occupation of a property in the event that the true owner or landlord does not take action within a certain time frame
Well, I can say this. Every city has its own rules as to what they will or want do. There is a vacant lot next to my place, adjusted by the city. The lawn hasn't been mowed since last September. You can see where I going. The grass is taller than me. On my good leg I stand 6'4 and it's taller then me by a good foot. Mind you The City Manager for these problems lives 5 house up from me and has to pass it every day to come and go off the street. Now the land that the interstate sits on. He makes sure that's mowed every 2 to 3 week. Go Figure !!!
I wonder if the police were notified of the possibility that squatters were there. The neighbors ought to be keeping an eye on the place, just to see who goes in and out of there.
I would have looked under the tarp and to prime a pump like that you pour water down the hole in the top there is a piece of leather in there that needs to be wet
With all the people needing housing it’s sad that this sweet little house is abandoned. There are a few properties in my city here in Ontario. And I wish we had an Eric to clean them up. There’s always a story.
Is this the one you did with Landon last year? If so, I think I remember it. It was one of the first I'd seen with Landon helping you. It was worse then, if I remember right. It's kind of you for tackling it yet again. Maybe the trailer belongs to another neighbor? It's a pity no one has done anything with it. It is a cute little house and there are so many in need of housing. I love the size of the yard too.
The City should address abandoned overgrown property. It creates problems like Rats, Mice and squatters can destroy the buildings or set fire to buildings. The Neighborhood people should get together and attend Townhall meetings and demand action. Property values drop too if you have overgrown grass and trees. We had a run down abandoned property in my neighborhood and we got together and at least cut the grass and picked up the trash. The City with pressure from Neighbors tore down the house itself It was so run down.
If it's truly been foreclosed on, the property is now the responsibility of the agency having executed the foreclosure- Making this still private property. If the land or structure(s) are falling into disrepair, it should be up to the city to lean on whomever holds the title to maintain it. Anyone going on the property without their written permission risks being trespassed, as they'd be held liable for any potential injuries occurring. IANAL. However, I have had to deal with similar circumstances in the past.
I bet ya looked under the tarp Erik ! ....... Im pleased you are cutting left homes, its also a sign for squatters to say you are in town. Good Job mate.
The city needs to cite owners of property. Their failure to maintain the property should be a criminal act. They need to pay major fine and do community service to clean up this property.
If the owner has been dead for four years, who is paying the real estate taxes on the property? My guess is - NOBODY! Therefore, the city or municipality should be able under existing statutes to foreclose the property and then offer it for sale to the general public. The house is probably trashed inside and it would be cheaper to have it torn down and rebuild on the lot than try to restore the house. The land is worth money. The municipality should have an attorney representing it, even if only part-time, who can institute the law suit, for pete's sake. This property has been abandoned if no heir(s) of the deceased owner ever filed a probate action in the county where this real estate is located to either have it sold or have it transferred to the heirs. The municipality is NOT helpless in this situation, it's just refusing to do what it has the right to do under existing laws. Perhaps the voters in this area need to remember this next election and vote the DO NOTHING OFFICE HOLDERS out of office.
You're an honest man Erik, great mowing, I've never seen one of those stand-on's here in NZ, only on Utube vids, ps what are you using on ya weedeater? Steel lol
Do the neighbors know if the woman had any family? Is there a law saying maintaining abandoned land for a certain amount of time the title is transfered to the person doing the work?
If this place was left abandoned were is the city in this. Most areas would have a public sheriffs auction before they would let a place go unintended. Look like a case of neglect on city council.

Can't comment. Pour water down the bowl like area where the rod comes up and pump until water comes up. If it's working.
I enjoy what you do, enjoyed watching the action but cannot support something as destructive as casinos.
You did such an Amazing job Eric!! That is Hard, strenuous work! I hope your son sees how hard his daddy is working and what an Incredible Soul that you are and I hope he gets your work ethic!! WELL DONE SIR ❤
I would have reported the trailer to the authorities and let them investigate. This is so sad. You did a good job with the yard.
Really surprised that the Generac hasn't been stolen. Would be a prime home for squatters.
Don't give anyone any ideas
I’m surprised as well. Generac looks fairly new too
That elderly lady was set up pretty well. That whole house generator would be great to have in case of a power outage.
The no smoking sign on the door likely means she used oxygen -- she would need a generator to operate her oxygen concentrator and provide safe heat in a power failure.
Do you think the City should be addressing this?
Yes
Yes!!!
Well the Council should find out who the new owners are (someone must be paying council rates) and tell them to have it attended to. The city should address this matter. Its a part of public safety.
Amen

I love the work you and your Son do together Eric. Very nice work.

I remember you doing this house!! Love it after y’all mow it and get it cleaned up!! As for the trailer I would talk to the neighbors see what they say. Then call the city find out what you can. Great job!! God bless!!
I talked to them in the video

@Outdoors with Erik Well, that is too bad.

Good work ! The old pump brought back memories. Here in Indianapolis, we used one until the late 60's in our used to be rural area. Always had good cold water.
You should try to get a hold of the family and tell them that squatters are there

Cute little house. I wouldn't mind living there at all You and Landon made it inviting.
It's a nice setup
Erick another great job. Get you about a gallon of water and as you are pumping the handlle pour the water down the top of the pump it will run down in the hole and as you pump and piur the water will start flowing out the spout.. love you guys keep up the great work

It's possible that trailer belongs to the heirs of the property. I know that when my mom passed, we had trailers parked by her house for awhile, while we were moving things out as we had time and were cleaning her house.

Will do!
😮. Very nice work guys. Can't wait to see more videos soon my friends.

I would be lifting the tarp. Great job gentlemen. Cheers🇨🇦
I would notify the family and / or the police. With the property, you and your son do such amazing work. God bless you and the family.
:
You need to prime it with water. It has a gasket that needs to be wet to expand to create the pressure needed to pull up the water.
Nice I'm trrying it

Yes the city should address this but another brilliant job by you and your boys
Thhanks my friend, it was pleasure to clean up
I wonder if the police were notified of the possibility that squatters were there. The neighbors ought to be keeping an eye on the place, just to see who goes in and out of there.
Could be the squatters or someone is emptying the house and selling the items.
Man I hope not
The trailer could just be a neighbor taking advantage of free storage space for their junk. Maybe they don't want an ugly trailer in their own yard.
I would have looked under the tarp and to prime a pump like that you pour water down the hole in the top there is a piece of leather in there that needs to be wet
Thanks for doing a wonderful job and looking out for unwanted guests. 🙏
Great job with yard Erik 😊
People. Like. My self. Would. Love. To. Have. A. House. Like. That. !! Good. Job
Nice outfit color coordination perfect socks.
Great job once again you guys 👊🏾
Thanks my friend, feel free to share
Great job Eric, I believe there's squatters in that house.
Could be
Great job, Erik 😊
To prime the well pump, just dump a few gallons of water into the recess on top and start pumping
With all the people needing housing it’s sad that this sweet little house is abandoned. There are a few properties in my city here in Ontario. And I wish we had an Eric to clean them up. There’s always a story.
I’ve always viewed squatters as former tenants who stop paying rent.
This is a home invasion, where they never leave. They should have zero rights.
Good job..NEED TO REPORT TRAILER
Nice job, Eric!❤
Glad you liked it!
You are too good for this world but we are blessed to have you in it.
You are so kind!
Is this the one you did with Landon last year? If so, I think I remember it. It was one of the first I'd seen with Landon helping you. It was worse then, if I remember right. It is a cute little house and there are so many in need of housing. I love the size of the yard too.
Yea it's the same one
Good work, amazing transformation, many thanks, but why don't see more of Landon's hard work ?
Great job, Erik! 🙏
Great to see you my friend
Have you been back to this property since you last cut the lawn? Did you find out to whom that trailer belong?
The City should address abandoned overgrown property. It creates problems like Rats, Mice and squatters can destroy the buildings or set fire to buildings. The Neighborhood people should get together and attend Townhall meetings and demand action. Property values drop too if you have overgrown grass and trees. We had a run down abandoned property in my neighborhood and we got together and at least cut the grass and picked up the trash. The City with pressure from Neighbors tore down the house itself It was so run down.
Glad they tore it down
I have a question we have an foreclosed house across the street from us and the city wont get involved what can we do
Keep the grass cut
Or if you can get enough people in on the problem and get enough signatures maybe the city will actually do something
Shouldn’t the foreclosure company/ bank be involved in the upkeep?
@@pamkammann1176 my sediments exactly
I bet ya looked under the tarp Erik ! ....... Im pleased you are cutting left homes, its also a sign for squatters to say you are in town. Good Job mate.
I didn't lol
Do you still do livestreams? I haven't seen any for a while
I haven't for a long time, mighht thihs week
Shit no, I would have never cut this lawn with squatters living there, you just made the place look good for them.
I'm not certain they are there but seems odd
Report the trailer could be another hard working person item for work. Great job 👏
I’d love to inquire about this home but have no idea where to start
If you get the address, you can check with county or city property records.
It's been vacant for a long while
Nice Work! What type of line exactly do you use on your string trimmer? Mine looks just like yours and I would of had to change mine 5 times!
Nice house and lawn
Great job god bless you and your son was a big blessing looks beautiful
The city needs to cite owners of property. Their failure to maintain the property should be a criminal act. They need to pay major fine and do community service to clean up this property.
Amen I agree
You can find out who owns the property because that information is public. It will be most likely on a county website but maybe city.
She has passed away
You need to pour water into the hand pump to prime it and if it still works, it will pump water up and out.
Thanks for the update
Looks great as always would be nice to pressure wash the house and porches
Very good job man good ❤️ heart God bless🙏🏽🙏🏽
I'm a FedEx Ground driver in the Battle Creek Michigan.
There's a elderly couple on 505 Hamilton Rd they need their yard mowed
Thanks bud, look me up on Facebook, I'll check it out!!
You have to pour water in top to prime the pump .
I'm going back to try it
Good job bless yours 😊
You’re are AMAZING!!♥️🙏🏻
😢great work. Very clean😊😊😊😊
Thanks for watching
It's crazy!
That should be done across the board no matter the level of administration. From the bottom to the top.
❤Many, Many, Blessings❤
Could be that there were squatters that owned the trailer and had to leave suddenly and couldn't take it
Could be, who knows
I'm surprised the Generac backup power generator is still attached to the house.
You pour water down pump to swell up piston gasket.
You're an honest man Erik, great mowing, I've never seen one of those stand-on's here in NZ, only on Utube vids, ps what are you using on ya weedeater? Steel lol
Well done! 🤗❤👍
near the hitch on the trailer you can find the serial number and check D.M.V.
Do the neighbors know if the woman had any family? Is there a law saying maintaining abandoned land for a certain amount of time the title is transfered to the person doing the work?
Love them socks Erik !
LOL they are comfy
If this place was left abandoned were is the city in this. Most areas would have a public sheriffs auction before they would let a place go unintended. Look like a case of neglect on city council.
To prime the pump simply pour water into the pump and start pumping
Pour a guard or a gallon of water to prime the pump
Nice clean up job !
Good job ❤
Thanks!
.to prime the pump you have to put water in from the top
God bless
Good job Erik.
Don't count on it its a shame thou. Good job 👏 👍
What kind of weed Whicker is that? I need one! And thank you for what you do and the post
