It looks like he has done this before. He is so organized and neat with all the plastic and no mess everywhere. Congratulations, have lots of fun quilting. I’m so happy for you. 💕
That would take up most of my living room, or the whole sewing room (which is the master bedroom). I hope you get to enjoy it for many years; and, I hope you get to finish many beautiful quilts on it. Congratulations. You are a very lucky lady.
Who was this guy? Talk about efficient. I think I spotted one wasted movement?(maybe). How many long arms has he set up? How long did it take? How were you able to not jump up and down in the middle of everything? What did you pick for the first quilt? Did you pick something easy to quilt, or did you challenge yourself for that first one? I have to laugh at myself. Watching the vid is almost as exciting as getting one myself. Thank you for starting my day in such a fun way!
I’m not sure how many long arms he’s set up, but yes, very efficient. It took almost exactly 5 hours. He only took 2 five minute breaks. After. Get the practicing over with, I’ll probably do some of those stash busting quilt tops I did during Stashtember. Hopefully after that, I’ll feel okay doing some of the others.
I have a Moxie XL and the ProStitcher thing. Isn't the Moxie control screen supposed to go on the machine too? This is the only video on YT that I can find that shows someone putting the machine together. In the instruction book it showed how to put together the frame and the robot but not the handlebar control part, which fortunately there are videos on YT that show it. But not attaching the ProStitcher tablet to a Moxie XL. In your thumbnail it has the screen on the machine too. Thanks for a response, it's holiday time and I can't call Handi Quilter or ProStitcher for answers for a few days. I am eager to get mine up and running but afraid of frying my machine.
Well…the small screen IS supposed to be attached in with the Prostitcher tablet mount. The installer missed that since this was his first Moxie XL install. He thought Prostitcher would override it. I have since gotten it installed correctly. If you’d like a photo, send me a request through my email lessonslearnt2021@gmail.com
Did the instruction booklets come with the frame? Or did you have to print it? I’m hoping for a hard copy. I was told there is an app to use. Mine will be here in a week or so. 😊

I’m so excited to see you learn and teach us about this machine. I’m happy for you🎉

How exciting for you!! Unfortunately my husband doesn’t support my hobby of quilting

There are printed instructions, the Bilt app and lots of videos.
