This berry is very popular in Russia, almost every family with garden or kindda summer cottage grow currant. We make jam with it mostly, oh and drinks also. @@missdisaster4849 hope it was useful! If you never tried it - give it a shot if you can get hands on currant. It's usually sour-sweet ( there's sweetness if it's ripe) and rich in flavor. Flavor is nice, not weird at all, so if some sweetener added it's a real treat. My fav is black currant and I believe its the most popular type to grow. Red and white currant resemble in taste black one, but still different.

Everyone who eats this many sweets are going to end up with diabetes hands down. It doesn't matter if you take it as being mean or not. It's a reality that everyone that eats this much sweets, needs to think about. I can see that you can eat sweets ( at a decent amount) and then go and exercise to burn it off. Now, we don't know if that is what they do, but doing exercising isn't going to prevent you from getting the disease. It just will help to not gain so much weight.
