Didn't Ty Lue quit with Ulcers, anxieties, depression, and whatever else coaching Lebron???
No he didn’t… Lue coached cavs 2016-2018… bron left the next season and Lue quit after 18 season I believe.. then was about to sign with lakers in 2020 before lakers low balled him on a contract
@@Trap323a Nah he's referring to the '17/18 season with the Cavs where Ty Lue had to take time off due to 'chest pains' attributed to stress. It wasn't that serious - returned before the end of the regular season and they made the finals lol Even with all of that, 2 finals and a title is a pretty good run imo. But the point of whether he would want that pressure again is valid tbf

Why do they talk like Ty Lue is the best coach in the NBA. Last I checked he won 1 chip. I kno him for being on iverson highlight more than I know him for being a top coach. They make it seem like the lakers woulda been in the chip if he was coaching them. At the end of the day it’s on the players & if u have 2 greats u shouldn’t have all these excuses.

Tylue is the most overrated coach, just like Doc Rivers. He won one chip with Lebron & Kyrie. And I believe it was more of them than him responsible for that chip.
Since then he’s had a stacked clippers team and hasn’t been able to do anything with it. Some how his stars gets all the criticism and he escapes without any. How did he manage to get so lucky with the press?

There's more than 2 people on a team. LeBron and Kyrie might not need much coaching but players 3-15 do. Not saying he is an all time great coach. He is a good xo coach but always reverts to being a small ball merchant.

He'd actually be a good choice in this situation based on what's out there. The reason Lue and Spo were good fits with Lebron was because neither guy looked at it as Lebron's team and were not afraid to tell him to shut the f**k up, sit down and listen or get your a** out the huddle. Fiz has the same type of edge. Plus he earned a nice rep as an executive with the work he did in Utah as an assistant GM so he has landing spots if they let him go... That's exactly why they won't hire him. The 4 people making the decisions in the front office are never going to bring in a guy who challenges their definition of Lakers head coach. They are becoming the Dallas Cowboys.

Lets have some perspective and at least pretend to know the league. What has any coach done to prove they area great coach without all-time great talent? What has Kerr done when Steph's been injured? What has Pop done when he hasn't had Robinson, Duncan, Manu, Tony or Kawhi? What did Phil do without a minimum of 2 hall of famers? Spo without Lebron and Wade? How great were the Nuggets and Malone without Murray or Porter? Being a great NBA coach is about far more than how many chips you've won.

I respect any coach that can coach Lebron with any success. How do you yell/coach a dude who practically owns the league? Being lebrons coach has to be one of the toughest jobs out there.
